He can easily do it and avg. 12 assists a game just like that. Running after all these midgets on D though...

im guessing that's why we brought in guys like KCP and Bradley to chase the smaller guards so LeBron doesnt have to

I feel like you still start Avery Bradley. LeBron, Bradley, Green, Davis, Boogie and it's all semantics. If you start Kuzma, then... I don't know. I guess Green guards Lillard and LeBron is forced to guard McCollum?

Starting 5 won't change. It just that Lebron will slot to run the point but he will still defend the SF position.

    Bradley
    Green

That's the way I see it too SVet. This is nothing new really. LeBron often facilitates the Offense even with a PG on the floor.

this is assuming we start bradley or kcp at "sf". but the phrasing that green/lebron is the "backcourt" makes me think kuz is the sf.

i like the idea of zigging when others zag in terms of going bigger instead of smaller, but you have to have someone who can chase the guards around. philly can get away with this with simmons, imo, but we can't with lebron.

as far as being the point on offense, he basically was for large chunks of last year already.

When I first saw this report I frankly just shook my head and chuckled. I'm neither in favor of this or against, but this idea that this far from training camp and pre-season that this is some ground breaking news is crazy to me. Like things can't change between now and the start of the season... of course they can and this might not actually happen. I just overall thought it was dumb to report something like this this far in advance of the season like its set in stone or something. I like Chris Haynes reporting a lot and he is plugged in but this doesn't mean much to me when looking at it on July 8th.

I think it's Green at SF, but yeah essentially the same thing. I could see them starting Pope or Kuzma too, but I think those make less sense than Bradley.

LeBron/Pope/Green/Davis/Cousins or LeBron/Green/Kuzma/Davis/Cousins seems to make less sense to me than LeBron/Bradley/Green/Davis/Cousins.

But I'm willing to be patient for now.

Also, Lakers will be playing team oriented defense where they will funnel all quick guards to McGee, Cousins and Davis. Lakers adding Avery Bradley today, wow, this team is so stacked right now with the correct skill sets.

I like it. Height and wingspan are the 2 advantages you can't teach. LeBron played the pg spot his rookie season in Cleveland. Gives us an advantage. Allows him to post the opposing pg and create space for shooters in doing so.

This shouldn't be a surprise. Likely that Bradley or KCP start for shooting/defense alongside LeBron, AD, Green and Cousins.

Basically, anything that involves RONDO not starting is a huge W in my book. Anything involving Rondo not playing at all unless there's injuries is a huge W.

Bradley can play the Mario Chalmers role,?; Green can stick to do what he does best and guard the best wing allievating the pressure from LeBron.

In short, I agree with you.

    Boogie

    2nd unit:
    Rondo
    Bradley
    KCP
    Dudley
    McGee

There’s so many different lineups we could run at people. Exciting times.
