No matter what we say here, he’ll still jack 8 threes

Terrible that he keeps jacking - esp early in the clock and without any ball movement after pounding or holding for 10 seconds. Remember when Wade had to stop shooting 3s for Heat to win? Same here. And they need more cutting to make Klay and Dray burn energy. Too much Bron or D Lo iso.

Great spurts on D and transition.

Had Steph hit that last shot I would have blamed Lebron - he didn’t box out Wiggins and Wiggins tipped Steph’s first rebound to Dray cause Bron relaxed and stood around watching with no box out. Nobody calls Bron out for that stuff. Great D by AD.

I did like how Bron hunted Steph on switches and took him into the paint on several possessions. Need to do more of that - take Steph’s legs on D.

this is getting to be really rough to watch.

    because of this ^

it took us way too long in the game to start doing this. if they think they're cute switching everything, we should get a shot in the paint every trip down. i couldn't believe they stayed with it.

great job hitting the fts down the stretch in this one, too. i've become accustomed to our stars missing fts in tight games, and lebron (and lonnie of course) hit them last night.

I really think these 3's, are chucked because of the foot injury. He has trouble beating his man off the dribble and blowing past him. When he picks up his speed though, watch out.

he's been doing this all year, and really for years before. maybe the foot is making it so that he continues in the playoffs, though.

i just think his pull up three off the pound is one of our very worst offensive options. when russ and bev were here, it might have been better than what we were going to get otherwise, but not now. we have many other guys who can put the ball in the basket and/or generate a decent shot. let them work.

lebron's threes should be catch and shoot (he drilled that big one), and otherwise, his touches (and AD's) should be foul-line extended and below, almost all the time.

About that skyhook: he can have that shot any time he wants. I'd prefer that over a random three. Now, I am not saying he should not shoot the three, but man, take 4 of them maybe? Hit or miss them, we can live with that. Great leadership and defense though, he really stepped it up on the defensive end for sure.

Im going to be a bit contrary to a lot of the chatter on Bron's 3 point shots. I honestly don't care how many he takes I care the quality of what he takes and when he takes them. The stagnant offense where he just dribbles, takes a step one way or another and fires up a 3 is, well, dumb. Our guys are never set up for a rebound, the shot is almost always missed and we are on our heels running back for defense. If he takes those 3s off ball movement and kickouts I wouldnt care because its in the flow of the game.

Other than that I think Lebron is playing a great series. This team attacked Steph and Klay all game making them play defense including putting Steph on the block to get punished. We need more of that especially in game 5 where we know the Warriors are going to come out firing. Gotta make Steph and Klay tired.

The form looks great, no flick of the wrist on the shot but the results are bottom.

Totally agree. If he could just trade 4 bad 3's/gm for 4 of these skyhooks, that would be great. He can still take 3-4 open 3's/gm, just not 8-9.

I agree...because in a roundabout way you're kinda saying that you do care about how many he takes. Because he's not getting 8-9 high quality 3's off ball movement and wide open kickouts. Maybe a couple a game, and most of us wouldn't complain about him taking 3-4 wide open 3's/gm, even if he missed a lot of them. It's the bad quality 3's that take him up to 7, 8, 9 of them per game. So I think we all want him to get down to 4 or so bc those are the acceptable shots - the others are not.

Don't think is sustainable but it's good to have in the bag.
Steph can get around Bron in his old age but he's still able to track him and protect the rim

It really seems underrated how good AD plus Lebron are on defense when engaged - just whole lot of athleticism, length, and basketball IQ. We see this when Lebron or AD have bad games like Klay and Poole had - it's not just about the player but what is the other team able to do to counter.

I'm sure he's fine having the most famous block in NBA history instead lol. Just happened to be in the playoffs as well.

Steph seems intimidated by Lebron. He wants no part of him when he switches on him. Probably has ptsd from all of those blocked shots from 2016.

This is, frankly, insane. 1st in points and steals, while being 2nd to Magic in assists? Wow.
