Lebron has lead his team in 3 pt attempts for a long time. He's not a great 3pt shooter, but it's a big part of his game. He hasn't shot this poorly from deep since 2015 though. He's due for a mini streak from deep eventually IMO.

My main issue with the 3 pt shooting, is this mystifying habit that we have, of just standing around the 3pt line, watching him hold the ball late in the shot clock. Nobody cuts to the basket, nobody comes to set him a pick, we just stand there watching him. It's not just with Darvin, we did the same thing all the time with Vogel. I hate that action, I can't really remember him ever hitting any big shots with it either. Jab step, jab step, then a fall away...brick...same thing over and over. The guy is one of the greatest passers in the game, give him options!!!

    Ok..that's my rant...I just don't get it.

Warriors have no rim protection. Besides AD only DLo took advantage of that fact. LeBron should stop chucking 3s and do what he does best put pressure in the paint.

but his handle is questionable at times, and they are packing the paint against us since we don't shoot the 3 worth a crap

If they pack the paint with midgets, then continue attacking the basket. They want him to stay outside.

You have the ballhandlers to have Lebron to catch the rock closer to the basket at a higher frequency ( at the elbow would be great by instance ) but he's acting as a floor spacer at the 3 pts line most of the time .

Sure he will cut to the hoop a couple of times but don't tell me we can't make things easier more frequently for him now .

I still maintain this is mainly his fear of going to the FT line ( his bad passes in traffic when posting up in the 1st half of Game 1 was an example imo)

Warriors understand he's not in a great steak scoring wise so they sure not going to double him in the post anyways.

i don't see why he's handling the ball out there given our current personnel. we have other guys who are better at it. and, to be fair, as green said above, he does it a lot less since dlo got here and reaves was elevated.

i've seen him hit those shots, but it's such a low percentage. even guys who are "good" at those shots shoot a pretty low percentage on them (e.g., luka, harden, etc.), but lebron's is abysmal. every time it happens, it's a victory for the opposing defense. same with AD shooting a face up jumper anywhere outside about 17ft.

we're better off with other players taking shots than our stars taking their worst shots. this isn't kobe with smush and kwame.

they won't double if they have green guarding him, but i wonder what happens if they go small with wiggins at the 4. would they dare?

and the nice thing about lebron is that he's a strong enough ballhandler that he can turn a catch at 20ft into a post up opportunity if there's enough time on the clock (AD can't do this against smaller guys, for example). that also makes him more of a passing threat, as he gets to read the floor longer

I just want to see something different, run some staggered screens for him, have someone else initiate, and let him pull an AD fake pick, and pull up. I'd just rather see him stepping into that jumper off the dribble, or in a catch and shoot. Get some bodies moving, I trust that he will make the correct decision, if presented with some more options . What he's doing ain't it.

This is what scares me. I know Steve Kerr is playing chess. I think Darvin is playing mahjong.

Ham has been very good in the playoffs
This doesn't mean he'll continue to do well but the guy has resurrected two guys careers from the dust heap into solid playoff-level rotational players in Rui and DS
He has effectively used his timeouts
He's not been tied to a small ball lineup unless he needs it for offense.
A guy who basically corrects a lot of his obvious flaws and has come up with good gameplans is all you can ask for.

GS is very good and they still have a great chance to beat the Lakers but Ham so far isn't the reason for the Lakers to lose

He was very good in both game 6 of Memphis and game 1 of GS. He called a timeout during the 14-0 run early as well just no one remembers it because both teams didn't score for awhile

Glass half full: Lebron found his shooting stroke again and will be a much more efficient shooter going forward

Glass half empty: This hot shooting game will give Lebron the false confidence to keep chucking from the perimeter
