so we'd have to shave about 11 million off just to sign one of these guys (many of whom aren't FAs and won't be available via FA anyway...). lebron's already supposedly opting in, so are you letting DFS walk? giving bkn 1st rounders to swallow an expiring for nothing?

so, sure, lots of names on that list, i'd love to just add to the team. but it doesn't work that way. this is why i'm saying it's not a great roster building tool, and that the nba is going to have to keep tweaking if it wants it to be.

In my head, DFS could have taken 4 million off his contract for 3 years. And Lebron could have done the other 7.

Alas… it was a fools hope.
