I'm expecting acting awards. Have you seen Trainwreck? Lebron is a better actor than any basketball player ever except for the brilliant guy who played Roger Murdock in Airplane.

 

Lebron wondering why his son can't play basketball this year. CIF I believe postponed all sports until March.

 

He’s just trying to ruffle some feathers and start some crap, but high school doesn’t have the money or resources to do any sort of protocols. I actually think it was a fairly irresponsible tweet to put out with no real or reasonable purpose.

He just wants to see his son continue to develop, and I get that. This comes across as a little detached and out of touch with reality to me for some reason.

But you have to have enough teams to play against that may not be in that same situation unfortunately

 

First of all these jerseys are fire.

But it just occurred to me, have we heard any updates on the idea on Lebron and AD changing jersey numbers? At one point they were talking about how AD would switch to 23, and Lebron to 6.

But I’m assuming since we haven’t heard anything and the Lakers are putting out promotional material so close to the start of the 2021 season with LBJ23 and AD3, the change has probably been nixed?

Originally I was kinda looking forward to it, give me an excuse to get some new jerseys. But now I think it makes sense. They’ve probably grown into their current numbers, and I’m sure both are striving to get their numbers retired by us so that would have confused things.

 

I sure hope not so Kobe's 2 going up there was a one off.

 

I agree 100%. I love both these jerseys and can't wait to see our guys play in them. Absolute fire.

And yeah, I get the sense AD and LeBron abandoned the number swap somewhere along the way. I feel like we'd have heard about that again by now and/or seen it in the promotional materials. Kobe notwithstanding, once you win a champion with a particular jersey number, it's kinda silly to change it. And that's before you get into the jersey retirement mess that would create.

Need to get that damn WISH trash off of there. Kobe's logo should be on there.

 

If you need some good laughs go back to the Houston series and watch how badly Lebron abused Westbrook. Blocking his shots, running him over, bouncing him around. I think James had some bone to pick with him. He was enjoying that too much...lol Reminded me of Jordon mentally destroying his opponents.
