I love how the speculation has gone from one week to eight . . . Not!

The team’s second shoot around……I guess this is another year we don’t practice and just watch film. This will be a good way to to acclimate all our new players. :ADGlance:

I will just repeat, in case some of you are worried: there is absolutely NO WAY an injury like this takes more than 10 days to recover from. If it does - then they are not telling us the whole story.

That's a doomsday prediction. Yes we lost to OKC but we can't say Detroit games aren't W games. And Wolves. And Spurs. And Indiana. And one of Sacramento. And Clippers or Charlotte. And Knicks or C-bags. That's 8 wins. Take 2/3 because we are playing like s***, that's 5/6 in a bad scenario.

As long as AD plays of course

I don't think he'll be back this week.

I'd give it 2-3 more weeks.

If he isn't healthy, we don't even need to suit up. He needs to get the time he needs and then we have to hope he doesn't get hurt again.

He hasn't lost his dominance...but it seems like he has finally lost his indistructability. He used to play 82 games like every season and now he is hurt every season. That is the new reality and it isn't "improving" when you get older.

Lebron actually has only played 82 games once. Since his Miami days he always misses between 5-10 games a season.

As long as he is healthy come playoffs, that’s all that matters.

^Ya he has always missed a few games but has never been hurt for extended periods like with us.

I remember one season he wanted to play 82 just to do that. as he usually played like 75-77 games...which is remarkable for his athletic way of playing.

I don't agree with "as long as he is healthy come playoffs"....thats simply NEVER worked in the NBA.

You have to build habits, rhythem and chemistry during the regular season.

There is no magic switch. There never has been a magic switch. NBA champions are typically also great in the regular season. You don't "limp" into the post-season as a 7th seed and win it all. Fact!

    its never happened in history.

Out of the 74 NBA champions, most of them have come from the No. 1 (53) and No. 2 (12) seeds. That’s 65 titles between the two seeds and the rest were divided between the third (7), fourth (1) and sixth seeds (1).

So basically once TWICE in 74 seasons the NBA champion wasn't a top 3 seed. One fourth and one sixth.

DNP - Old and breaking down. We've seen this script before. It would be best to start Jerry Sloaning his minutes. We have the depth. Allegedly.

We could use him back sooner than later. Let’s hope that is the case. Sounds like it is.

two perennial all stars in AD and westbrook and this team's success is still 100% reliant on soon to be 37 year old lebron in his 19th season

    not a good sign

Westbrook is over rated and has yet to make any of these players currently around him any better. Oh yeah, our defense sucks and we don’t rebound well either. I couldn’t care less about All Star selections.

Hey, we got a title out of LeBron before he goes off into the sunset. At least we have that.
