that part isn't so bad, crapping on CLE

but he crapped on Miami too

I see a pattern I don't want to be apart of in his waning years in a uniform with diminishing returns and out of control narcissism. Hopefully he adjusts his attitude if he comes West. Otherwise, I don't know if I'll even want to watch any games. And that makes me sick to think about.

The people closest to LeBron, including Windhorst who is contractually obligated to be physically touching LeBron for 15 hours a day, all say the same thing: he hasn't decided yet. However, he's preparing everything in his life the same way he did when he left Cleveland and the same way he did when he left Miami. He's leaving the same bread crumbs, he's behaving the same way towards management and the way his team operates. Every sign points to him leaving with one exception: if Cleveland wins a title and there's a prospect of multiple titles, he'll stay. If not (and he's doing what he can to basically make sure it doesn't happen), he's leaving.

Him leaving the Lakers would likely mean retirement given his age. If he "bails" to retire, what do we care?

We'd have to have another big star along with him, we HAVE to retain Ball and Ingram, and we can't trade away future assets to bring in his buddies so he can't hold us hostage or leave us decimated when/if he goes. We can't end up as smoldering craters like Cleveland the first time or like Miami when he leaves. We do those things, I'll get over LeBron being here.

I am 100% in agreement with that. I don't want LeBron without another star anyway because it becomes a circus instead of an actually competitive team. I also am not willing to give up Ingram/Ball just to give LeBron another buddy. It's Lonzo/Ingram and LeBron/another big name FA. That's the end game.

LeBron is as good as gone.

Spurs make the most sense for him because of Kawhi factor as well as Pop. Could extend career and play for rings right now.

Lakers make sense if they can secure Paul George and those kids develop. If the Lakers got back in the playoffs and got George then they're probably the favorite.

some of you guys are a little paranoid with the Lebron hate, I dont like his personality either but he ain't dictating terms here like he did in Clev thats for dam sure. Its probably why he left Mia, Riley wouldn't put up with his BS and neither will magic, if he comes he plays with what we got not what he tell Magic to get. However to play the otherside if Magic is spineless and folds to every James whims then yes we're probably F but I just dont see that happening.

i think it's key to keep one young star, but yes, two would be better. but feet to the fire and lebron says i'm coming with paul george if you move one of ingram/ball for <insert current allstar>, i fold. relevance. the last few years didn't happen. big deal.

Does "I fold" mean you cave to that demand and give up one? Please tell me you are not serious if that is what you're saying.

Or you're saying you fold on the idea of bringing him here?

Get Paul George here. Then see who comes with him. I can't believe there's any willingness to let LeBron dictate who else to come at the cost of Ingram or Ball. Ingram is who it would have to be. F*** that!!!

Does George come here if LBJ doesn't? I do find it interesting that Westbrook still hasn't signed the extension. I have to admit, the thought of a Boogie/George combo coming here is intriguing as well. On paper it's a great fit with Ingram/Ball/Our Eclectic PF platoon. In real life, Boogie is a wack-a-doo.

But as far as what was laid out above, San Antonio makes sense, but more than other places? His next move will be as much legacy/quality of life as it is about immediate contention. Does jumping on with the Spurs help his legacy? Does he want to live in San Antonio?

And we aren't making the playoffs next season. It would take career years from Lopez, KCP and Clarkson. And Ingram and Ball would have to be better than we are expecting. AND a player like Anthony Davis, Jokic, and Lillard (players on teams fighting for the 7-8 seed) would have to miss significant time.

Rumor is Lebron wants out of Cleveland because Dan Gilbert is a Trump supporter.

    Can't make this up.
