It's the 1st time Kyrie is relevant in the playoffs since 2017 ..

Jaylen Brown has played 119 playoffs games to Kyrie's 91 ..

Yeah it's the cost of having Lebron on your team .. He prioritizes his own goals as soon as he won a title regardless of the potential damages the pursuit and achievement of these goals can do to the said team/franchise

First it was acquiring Westbrook to make sure he was going to stay healthy enough to beat Kareem's record by bringing another dominant ballhandler now it's playing with his son .

yeah, there's a lot of kyrie hot takes going on right now. he's definitely been a solid citizen and good performer in dallas so far. but if you look at his performance basically post-cleveland, he tends to have a honeymoon period where things are good on and off the court, followed by a period in which his play drops off AND he becomes a problem off the court. he's also only played more than 60 games once since leaving cleveland.

very curious to see a) what he does in the finals and b) what happens next year, regardless.

if he delivers a title and has truly turned over a new leaf, i'll be even more angry...

at joe tsai for not dealing in good faith.

Lebron with a brief appearance kicking it with the old guard. (Handy, Jr Smith, Kuzma, and Cook)

i'd have to know more about perkins and lebron's relationship to know if he has a point. lebron's point could be that you're nobody to me, why would i owe you a conversation? perk's point seems to be that they're friends or something.

anyway, if i were pro athlete, i might be a bit sensitive in some cases, too. i wouldn't do kd burner account stuff, but i definitely might not follow people on social media who say things about me that i don't like.

Davis torches all these thin centers though. All about matchups: Lakers matchup well against the C Bags particularly if they had Kyrie. Dallas has no one like Reaves and AD so sliding Jaylen Brown over to Kyrie wouldn't hurt he Lakers nearly as much as Dallas.

It blows but the Lakers matchup well against most of these playoff teams even without Kyrie of course except Denver. They just happened to have a great guy to put on Lebron, the one guy AD has to guard in Jokic, and bunch of guys to throw at DLo/reaves. Everyone else Lakers almost would win big and against Boston with Porzingis AD would be causing havoc

yeah, we match up well with lots of teams, just not denver. can't believe we drew them in the first round. this is why you take the regular season more seriously, darvin.

With how he's regarded by a lot of Lakers fans, this is crazy to think about

Wait, he’s a “Lakers Legend” based on how many seasons he’s played in the PNG?
Nah, that’s not on the criteria list.
    GOAT of his generation? Yes
    Laker Legend? Nope
If he miraculously wins one more, then sure.

We have tolerated him longer than I had ever hoped. If we sign his son, it could be even longer than expected.
