Anyone else think the "every game" questionable with "serious pain" in the ankle report is just for benefit of Silver and the people who watch for stars taking games off? Any time this guy is on the floor he sure doesn't look hobbled at all to me. Same thing with AD.

He was definitely grimacing at the end of the Kings game. Lebron definitely sells the fouls but he comes back - doesn't leave to the locker room let alone during a time when no foul situation was present

Yeah that’s true . But man the next game he just “looks” healthy as hell and is out there doing amazing LeBron things physically …. explosive dunks, chase down blocks above the rim, bouncing around off the floor like it’s nothing and he’s not 39.

majority of the reason teams are getting open 3s is cause of Bron....he always sags into the paint for whatever reason (u can see it several of those possessions in the 4th)....he stands in there doing absolutely nothing, Barnes went 7/11 froms 3, most of em were wide open cause bron doesnt even bother contesting

Just a bad game from till the 4th. Too many TOs were the biggest issue.

He was getting a head of steam in the 4th but by then too late

i think both he and AD are playing injured, but that's just going to be life with those two come march-june, i think.

Only if AD got injured for the season (Losing Creed)

this is kind of insulting to all things Rocky.
LeBron is pretty good, but he’s no Rocky. And he’s my favorite player.

Need a bounce back game tonight. Stop sagging off shooters. How many threes did he concede to Barnes?? Seemed like infinity

    He loves playing GS.

    Did everything he could tonight.

    Shame it was for nothing.

He doesn't care one bit, yeah he got 40, but how many did he give up with his no defense, no rebounding a**.

This team isn't good enough defending with 5,,let only 4.

Maybe I have lower expectations but I just don't think it's realistic to ask your (almost) 40 year old star to score 40, carry a defense that's ranked 29th since the ASG, and wrestle in the paint for every rebound (he did have more rebounds than any Warrior not named Dray). You're going to have to pick one and rely on the teammates to pick up their play and for the most part, they didn't.

If that's the case then score 50 for the win. It's impossible to play defense with 4 especially when our back court is two unathletic guys.

You mean impossible to play defense with zero? NO ONE can play D. Bron/Reaves/Dlo/Rui.. All of them are trash so I wouldn't just single out Lebron.

AD carries that side by himself.

lebron's still a very good player. but you don't get to say he's carrying everyone when the d falls apart if AD isn't there and the O falls apart if dlo isn't there.

AD carries our entire defense every night. lebron carries 70% of the offense every night.

whatever, i'm tired of this season. i do think that if vando was healthy, we'd be solidly in the 4/5 range, but the margin for error is just razor thin when you're biggest earner is 40 years old. is what it is.
