not to keep hammering, but lebron can joke about this because he really doesn't care. that's what the extension meant to me, too. and i said so at the time. he knew a russ trade wasn't going to save us, and all he cares about is rings and the scoring title. with the rings out of play, there's just one thing.

i just wonder if he'll allow the FO to move AD while he still has value. if you signed on for the full kobe farewell special, you get the whole enchilada!

If Lebron is out for an extended time we will find out all we need to know about AD.

that AD and 10 minimum players who are bad shooters will lose a lot of games? so would jokic and giannis.

They'll list him as day to day. It will probably be a problem all years along with his foot.

No need to jump to AD's defense I'm not out to get him...lol. I don't care about Jokic or Giannis as they are not Lakers. I want to see drive and desire that has been lacking. I don't believe the most dedicated AD fans would deny that. I want to see how he adapts as the number one guy with out Lebron. Can he lead and inspire? Those are the things I want to see, obviously he has the talent. We all know this is a flawed roster but surely we can make more determinations from watching the games than we are going to lose. The biggest question I have this season is can we build around AD going forward? That has yet to be answered.

i just don't see how AD with a roster not built to maximize him in any way provides a useful indication of what AD will be like going forward. unless we plan on just doing the same stuff with him over and over without success.

i brought up people about whom there is no debate to demonstrate the point rather clearly, imo.

if AD can't lead russ and the minimums effectively, i've learned nothing i didn't know before this stretch.

Have to admit he’s my least favorite person to listen to on the LFR podcast.

I want to see AD play with maximum effort and focus. Make others better. Whether we win or not I want to see AD from two years ago. If he isn't that AD then I don't want to build around him. He could be a piece but not the main piece.

3years now, you havent seen enough of a trend? and to clarify, even though I dont trust his health to be a player to build upon I dont trade him now either as we'd be getting pennies on the dollar. This team only has a chance if Bron is active, we would still need an elite play maker star type guy to be AD's batman

That sounds like McMenamin, who is just as annoying for other reasons.

It's certainly a good time to have a random week off in the schedule.

Unfortunately this is just an old man injury. You can’t be playing games so often at his age. It just is what it is.

But Lebron missing extended time basically is the final nail in the coffin.

I completely get where you are coming from. I want to see AD without the shadow of Lebron hanging over him. Just paint me as being slow...lol.

Believe it when I see it. I believe more in Santa than I do our injury evaluations.
