I couldn’t care less what LeGM’s opinion on a coach or player is.
He’s shown his quality in talent evaluation.

lue proved he's a hell of a coach this season. the entire clippers season was basically just showcasing that

still think vogel was the right coach for the 19-20 team though

seriously. getting a bunch of high priced wings who play defense to win half their games? i think folks can do that in the modern nba. particularly when they have the front office supporting them and not telling them to play DEANDRE JORDAN MORE.

i'll shift gears here and say that lue would have won a title in 19-20, too! because he's an equally good coach to the guy we fired.

and believe me, lue would have been fired this year had he coached us, too. which is why he took the jv job with the better security in the first place.

I honestly think LeGM wanted Russ to cement his goat legacy if he won a chip with him. That way he could show that he’s done what nobody else has done with Russ. What a terrible miscalculation.

I don't. He's full of broken promises. Said he'd fix the effort issue too. Didn't happen.

Nobody cares what he has to say. Just go ball, win and entertain us. Keep your desperate social media ego driven posts to your self stat muse.

Lebron’s self allocation of energy was 95% offense and 5% defense on most nights. Would something like 60/40 have produced more wins? Or was our offensive roster construction (+ AD out) so bad that he had to focus more energy on offense?

    Actions speak louder than words.

His recent tweets and comments to the media has only brought extra scrutiny to his failures.

He needs to start making retirement plans because his MVP level days while holding a max contract are behind him.

This. The team has many offensive weapons but they desperately needed Lebron's defense and ball distribution. The lineups and style of play on the court was meant to appease his scoring. No wonder they failed so miserably this year (and were toothless quite often in 2020-2021).

Lebron and Vogels team Philosphy were dead wrong if their goal was to win a title. The more Lebron looked to score the team looked less lethal.

So Lebron vows to play just enough defense to make the playoffs. Why don't we really put out some effort and try to compete for a championship. The truth is, at least the way I see it, if Lebron focused on defense and let the new coach worry about putting together an offense we could compete. It isn't that Lebron suddenly can't play it is just his focus is on selfish goals. We all just need to massage his ego and tell him how great he would be if he sacrificed his personal goals for team success. Might even help his legacy that is taking some huge hits lately. I'm only irate at Lebron because he could still be a major player in a championship instead of a team killer. Or maybe his statement is the first step in asking to be traded...lol we can only hope.

So yeah, probably shouldn’t let stars build their own teams. Stars play, they aren’t GMs, even Kobe had some not great ideas with his impatience to win. LeBron and KD both built losing teams when given too much power and influence
