i'm curious as to whether rich paul/klutch are going to carry the same cache now that lebron isn't the league's best player.

everyone can see what happened to the lakers: lebron and klutch made a bad trade that made the team uncompetitive. which franchise is signing up to be next in line for that? charlotte?

 

There's not much franchises that would pass the opportunity to have Lebron next year, even with Klutch and Bronny coming along. It's just too much PR to pass on. That team would immediately be one of the most followed, regardless of the on-court success.

I'm not sure if he goes to another team, though 3 straight failures would be hard to swallow

 

i'm just arguing that the writer who thinks it's stupid not to mortgage the future because klutch will end you maybe isn't taking a long view here.

 

Let's assume for a second it is true. What exactly Bron ask was? Trade whom? Not AD or Russ, certainly, as this would provde he's a moron GM. Whom then?

I call BS. I am Rob and Bron comes with such a request, I am not fighting him. I am showing him, slowly, that becuase he and AD dealt with things beyond their mental capacity he is now in a zugzwang. No need for a confrontation.

 

i'm guessing lebron wanted them to use future firsts and nunn or THT to bring in a vet from somewhere. probably terrence ross because he's a klutch guy.

who knows? whatever it was, it probably wasn't going to move the needle and would just make life harder later. lebron doesn't care about that because he won't be here, but rob is planning to.

 

Meh this Klutch stuff is getting ridiculous. Lebron and AD are two of the best players in the NBA period, and Klutch clients true. However...KCP and Trez were Klutch clients, and I still see absolutely nothing wrong, with keeping Talen Tucker, whether he was a Klutch client or not. Folks are just looking for stuff now. AD and Lebron have missed a bunch of games, and both have played below their standards at times when they have played. That is the issue here, it aint Russ, Vogel, or an ill fitting roster. Those are some contributing factors, but the crux of our issues this season, lay firmly at the feet of our two superstars. They don't deserve any cover, if this thing crashes and burns this season, they need to be held accountable for it happening. Meddling with the roster? whatever, if their a**** had been available all season, and played up to their standards, nobody would be crying about the damn roster!!!

 

ok, odd response. the question is why lebron's folks seem to be leaking displeasure with the front office for not making moves at the deadline.

 

Maybe because they want to provide the King with some kind of excuse. f*** that, he doesn't get any excuses as far as I'm concerned. The Captain goes down with the ship, he doesn't start scanning for lifeboats when the ship starts sinking. I hope this leak is false, because if that is really what he and AD want to be made public, to hell with both of them for that candy a** BS. That's not leadership.
