I do, and I'd keep him there when AD comes back.

About the game vs Portland, and Bron's play as of late - I don't think I've ever seen this level of consistent performance from a 37-year old. In fact, to see this, you'd have to go back to 2006 Kobe or prime MJ. Probably Wilt, but I've never seen Wilt play. I mean, it's unbelievable what Bron does on the court right now. It shouldn't be possible.

Dude is special. I feel sorry for people missing out on this display of greatness due to sick, hate reasons. Not even Cap was this dominant, that late into his career.

The fact that he's doing things he's never done before makes it even more impressive. Honestly I would've bet that he had 35/10 for at least a 10 game stretch at some point in his career.

Lebron at the 5 vs good teams he's gonna get Nic Claxton'd again.

I love this enthusiasm when they beat scrub teams like Houston and POR and thinking they can replicate that vs legit teams with multiple potent scorers.

Jan 2 vs KAT. I wanna see how this goes and then I'll maybe buy in

The only way Lebron at the 5 really works if he gives up the ball, scores with lesser usage and expends more energy towards the defensive end with disciplined play.

No one is saying play LeBron at the 5 against KAT … Debbie.

Our newly available defenders with size leave you cold too?

Pretty sure we're not going to have him start against KAT, that would be a horrible idea. Dwight will get the start, just like he did against Adams. Bron at C is working really well against smaller teams. Has nothing to do with how many scorers they have, rather how big they are up front.

LMAO! You somehow thought that was an inefficient performance …. scoring 43 with the amount of shots he took? Open your eyes. Getting Ariza and Reaves back with Johnson added changes the whole complexion of this team on defense where we have had crap to trot out on that end. Watch Vogel ramp this up to top 5 defense even with AD out. LeBron has a performance for the ages in his career at the 5 spot and here you are saying how he needs to do it if he wants to do it right?

we can use lebron at the 5 like were planning on using AD at the five. and that means just using AD at the 4 at all times, which is fine. AD needs to drop 15lbs for that, imo.

still would like to swap dj for a different kind of utility big. guessing they're just afraid that if dwight went down, we'd have no real size for the behemoths.

Or Dwight has the refs on his a** from the opening tip / or deserves them and has 3 fouls in the first quarter.

Context matters. Dominating scrub teams has been a hallmark this year (ORL, IND, POR, HOU) and so is losing against better NBA competition (MEM, BKN, PHX)

Winning vs better competition convincingly can cure some grievances

Just ignore the three 6’6” - 6’8” good defenders we have as a group available for the 1st time? Our suck *** defenders available from what was left from injuries and Covid contributed to a lot of that, but carry on and be negative, you do it so well whether with rational observation or not. Tell us again what LeBron needs to do to better avoid disappointing performances with “too much usage” from the 5 spot like last night?

In December, he lead the league in steals and was 3rd in blocks. If Lebron goes 39/9/7/3/1 on 67% TS with 3 turnovers, there's nothing to criticize. We lost that game because we were missing all of our most impactful players and Russ went 4-15 in the restricted area.

There should be a threshold level of performance that fans ask of a certain player, beyond which we don't play silly games crying "empty stats"

It's not just the defenders, on offense getting Monk back has given Lebron a guy who can shoot, drive, and backdoor. Monk ability to be a 3 level scorer has given him the outlet guy he needed to unlock defenses.

Yes definitely that too. Monk looks great in that starting role and is so much more precise and efficient in his game now with the new “set” role.

I think they really have found something with LeBron at Center against smaller teams. I’m looking forward to seeing how this works now that we have our good defenders back.

Lakers are 6 - 8 in that month of December.

Losses vs playoff level opponents include LAC, MEM (Twice), MIN, CHI, PHX, BKN

I'm pretty sure Lakernation could care less about stats at the end of the year if all of this hoorah doesn't result in a chip.

The bottom line is to play like a championship contender. The current process in my opinion does not favor that.

Im looking for cohesive play between the Big 3 and I don't see that. Right now its my turn your turn style hoopla
