really hope its just for this season because of covid protocols messing with some teams

there is no reason to reward bad teams with a second chance at making the playoffs

Been awhile since we’ve had so many depressing quotes after a game.

I don’t like the play in format but I also don’t think it’s right for LA and Dallas to just start complaining about when it affects them.

He looks like a 36 year old in his 18th year who is battling injuries and finding it difficult to adjust to new teammates while finding his own rhythm.

He just needs to play full time PF. We need to put more speedy perimeter players around him and go small. It would help if he would defer and give it to AD more often in his sweet spots

Crowded interior = Lebron can be easily locked up as he will settle for his unreliable jumpers

i think the team has collectively realized that he and AD aren't going to be where they need to be to win it this year, and the effort is dipping. guys like schroder and drummond are seeing their chances at big paydays dwindle, etc.

i already posted at length about the stupidity of the play-in, but the fact that one of the three teams tied for 5th with less than 10 games to play will have to play their way in against teams who have been a full-stratum below them all year is an absolute joke.

i hope it's the lakers, because the league is going to be VERY uncomfortable facing the proposition that memphis and san antonio get the last spots in the playoffs with lebron and the lakers watching at home.

having lillard or luka out because of the rule would also be pretty terrible for the playoff ratings, imo. all because you wanted to infuse some absolutely pointless "excitement" to the early part of the playoffs.

Well which is it you want with AD ..... stop being a puss and man up and go hard around the rim, like others are now accusing him of being, and not doing?

Or not clogging up the middle, banging away often down low, since that's not his "sweet spot" at the moment, especially coming off a potential career altering injury, or maybe ever ..... his "sweet spot"?

Can we agree the guy needs more touches? Whether its 18 feet or 15 feet or lobs or early postups when hes rim running. He can attack in multiple ways. I hate seeing him shoot many 3s even when he's open.

We rarely see any pick and pops/ pick and rolls either. We don't have to give him straight post ups like Shaq but there's still many ways to get him the ball

Certainly. I think maybe, for when he does play the 5, and is capable of stretching the floor ..... that they are trying to get him back into a shooting groove too from deep. Just don't agree with all this clamor now (again) that he's "soft" .... considering the seriousness of the potential injury he's coming back from and trying to get into shape again. Bunch of high risk acceptable, high pain tolerance, armchair warriors coming out of the woodwork again.

Yeah f***ing Tatum has had to use an inhaler all year since he got Covid and took him forever to look the same and he's what 13 years younger than James?
