I hope he just sucked and it's not the ankle. My issue is not that he sucked because of a physical limitation.

For a supposed basketball savant he sure does a lot of d****** stuff in crucial moments.

You have to lose in order to choke.

Air-balled a trey, a turnover in those crucial possessions. Denver did a good job closing down his driving lanes. Davis bailed him out. James is due for these. Confident for him Game 3.

Hot start and carried the team in the first half. 2nd half looked really flustered.

lol, thought both of those things immediately on that play. lebron not moving at all really confused them--they were NOT expecting that. plumlee called for the switch too late. problem was that they only had the one point lead, so they had to watch for basket cutters with rondo as the trigger man, so lebron at the elbow is a serious concern.

still, AD had to make a tough, clutch shot. my goodness.

Really getting tired of "Lakers fans" calling Lebron a choker. And explaining it in detail is futile because you people are not gonna comprehend it anyway or want to comprehend it. So, I'm just gonna clown you all when you say it with no explanation.

He deserves the criticism because he called himself the greatest. Its part of the package if he wants to be called GOAT

Thankfully it really doesn't matter tonight since the Lakers ultimately won.

Lebron was stellar in that first half. He carried us then. There was a moment in the second quarter when he had scored more than half of our points - 21 out of 41! That ain't choking.

That said, he did get bottled up at the end there and shockingly IMO he went away from the hot hand in AD. AD hit that three in the corner with 3:03 to go and then he didn't really get the ball back until the final shot with 2 seconds go to. That was a misread by both Lebron and our guards. We should have kept feeding AD who had it going. They ignored him, but it was a collective thing not just a Lebron thing.

Dude, everyone has a bad game. That was arguably the worst LeBron has played in a long time. I think he deserves some slack. He played terrible but LeBron usually plays much better after a bad performance.

And he still had 21 points in the first half.

Then praise him in the first quarter when he scored all the points for practically half the quarter. I am sick of this b*******.

Chill man. Fundamentally we are on the same side. I get why you're annoyed with the Lebron criticism but that's the higher standard that he has brought upon himself. He does get credit for keeping the Lakers afloat in the first half. It can also be said he should've played better in the 2nd half. That's all. Ultimately the Lakers won and we can all be happy about that.

No, I am not gonna chill. Lakers have been destroying everyone for 2 weeks, they have one competitive game against a very good team and still win, and i have to read about how Lebron is a choker. I want to use better language right now but I'm trying to keep it PG.

He could have played better in the 2nd half...much better.

He played like sh** in the 4th quarter. And you know who would be the first to tell you they played like sh** in the 4th quarter? LeBron James.

They collapsed the paint, he over penetrated, and the Nuggets were living with the result.

I think the Nuggets found a remedy to attempt to at least "contain" LBJ.

When the jumpers not falling typically they put Lebron in the post or you can put him the triple threat starting closer.
Looked like they were trying to go to the AD/Lebron PnR later in the game and they did get the wide open Caruso look.

Something they'll have to consider in Game 3 if the offense bogs down as they do have counters to the wall in the pain looks Denver was going for even if Lebron isn't hitting jumpers. Another few days will let the ankle hopefully lose any lingering issues as well

Was thinking that same exact thing - I'd move him into the post...

I would much rather LeBron set the tone early, and from that, hope AD and our 3 point shooters feed off it from the middle to end of the game.

This isn't a younger LeBron in Cleveland and early Miami. He can affect the game in so many other ways now... including demoralising blocks, changing the speed of the game, defence, hustle etc.
