To be fair, his behaviour, aside from on-the-court-greatness which was never in question, has been nothing short of exemplary. No douchiness. No condescending s***. No putting himself above the organisation.

That is vastly different from what he used to behave like. Not one person arguing against signing him, AFAIR, based it on his play, rather his behaviour.

I am very glad to be wrong, but you can't fault the reasoning.

They also wanted Okafor and Lonzo Ball; among other things.

    They didn't want Dwight.

Now, they don't want Waiters. Admittedly, I don't want Waiters; however, given the majority of members here don't want him, that means he might be a real impact piece for us.

You saw Okafor with those post moves and his ginormous hands was fool's gold?

It's some seriously convoluted logic, but I like it.

What behavior are we talking about? His decision in 2010? As far as I know, that was the only blemish in his career. He did demand things from management such as allowing his best friend tag along with him but those are trivial benefits you would gladly give to your star player who is raking you millions. In my opinion, those who did not want LeBron were mainly die-hard Kobe fans. And there is nothing wrong with that considering the LeBron vs Kobe fandoms out there but LeBron since 2011 has been absolutely sensational on/off the court.

I guess the “ Lebronning” craze about his flopping, for one thing, and the YouTube compilations were just made up. The talking in 3rd person. I. Me. My. In interviews. To name a few. Those went on for many years but thankfully he has matured a lot and has been fantastic the last several years.

He's feeling good out there and looks pretty fresh heading into the final month 1/2. The huge jam, the half court 3, playing the passing lanes.

Surprised the D hasn't reacted quicker when they see it

Lakers fans are notorious for not recognizing talent or refusing to acknowledge talent on any team not called the Lakers. It has been F'ing ridiculous for decades. I have certain dislikes for particular players, for instance I don't like Harden, but to completely disavow him and say he has no skills and is a bad player, is stupid. I mean, I would really not want him on this team but the dude can play. I just like other styles of play way better and I do agree with some of the negative takes on his skill set. I can remember back at the beginning of Wades career, most Lakers fans bagged on him and said he would never amount to anything.

One thing that I hope experiencing Kobe's career would do to all current Lakers fans is give them a larger appreciation of the game, like Kobe had, and appreciate the skills that others bring. In fact that appreciation is what makes beating them all the more sweeter.

I did not like some of Lebron's earlier career antics, and felt like the leagues endorsement of him, especially in light of their negative reaction towards Kobe, were distasteful. But honestly, that is more on the league's FO than Lebron. Now that I follow Lebron closer, I am more than impressed with him. He's a good man, he is nobody's clown. I am super glad he is on my team and consider him a top 3 player in this league.

This game reminded us that Lebron in playoff mode is an absolute beast.

Sensational game. Not only did he do all that for us offensively but he played some excellent D on Giannis.
