Last night's game was his best game as a Laker. He was a killer and very aggressive. It really makes a difference when the court is open and there's a small ball lineup out there.

He's earning my respect big time for performing at such a high level at this age. He's put us Lakers back in the contending picture and turned the franchise's fortunes around. Incredible.

Resting him at okc on b2b—good choice.

About time he gets some rest. Hopefully since Rondo likely plays a lot with him out he’ll punch CP3 in the face again.

Wow, he was on cruise control for a bit in the first half but that was the most efficient scoring I've ever seen from him (75% shooting, 31 points!). Plus way to keep going up that ladder of all time greats - passes Isiah Thomas for 8th all time assist leader.

I remember when LeBron was in Miami...he had a stretch of like 20 games of shooting better than 50% (in each game). I don't remember correctly but he averaged I think 58% shooting during that stretch...including games like 13-15 or 17-21. He just used to dunk or lay in every basket bullying people along the way.

That 6 minute run in the 4th quarter was insane. Should've been illegal what he was doing to them in the 4th.

Very efficient game against his former team. Guess he kicked the flu

Shows what happens when he can get some rest. I think if he didn’t have to work as hard, he would efficiently destroy more often. At his current pace I feel he expends too much energy even if his body can handle it.

We all saw this but it blew me away that one time he took possession deep in Cleveland territory and f****** just turned on the jets with the ball dribbling and beat everyone down to put it in . At 35. Jeezus. It was Darren Collison's epic coast to coast score at UCLA worthy, considering his age and just how big and solid he is.

People have different definitions of who the GOAT is but if LeBron manages to win 5 rings, 5 Finals MVP's, and ends his career being #1 in points and #2 in assists (both of which are a lock to be achieved if he plays 4 more seasons after this), he would have made a case that would be tough to argue against. #1 in points and #2 assists... Unbelievable.

Definitely comes down to definition. I have a hard time giving the GOAT status to anyone who doesn’t make you quake in your boots in crunch time. If you have one possession to save the entire world, Whose hands are you putting the ball in? That’s probably my definition. You are going to have to foul him to prevent the shot, and even then, he is going to nail the free throws. You’re effed either way. Is he that guy for you?

longevity awards are a different category for me, but certainly play a role in overall ranking of his career. So while I definitely understand people considering him for that title, there are many fans for whom he will not fit their definition.

Example: Is John Stockton the greatest PG ever?

his assist record may never be touched, but he is rarely brought up for that title. I think there is a combination of career statistics, impact on the game, and something I would refer to as peak powers.

Shaq at his peak was pretty unstoppable, but do I rank his career over Kareem?

    Stuff I chew on...

But if you have flopping compilation videos of you on YouTube, it’s probably not happening.

Worst game I've seen from him this year: needed him to try to score more and not be in PG Lebron mode tonight
Gordon did a good job on him
