Can I rearrange my Ball Jersey to save Davis somehow and add a 3?

Bron's thank you to AD for giving up the $4m.

Smart financial move, Lakers might have the top 3 selling jerseys next year.

If he wants 7 rings over MJ he'll persuade Klay or Kawhi over here too

Maybe Bron has matured and isn't the narcissist everyone paints him to be...

Nah, he is, I think last season was just a slap in the face wake up call on how tough the West actually is and how he’s not as young anymore.

It's also a great gesture for whoever that 3rd superstar is going to be...maybe LeBron can tell Kawhi in the pitch meeting "this is your team"...

Smart, smart move for Lebron to hand over his #23 jersey to AD. Shows potential free agents (Kawhi *wink *wink) that he may be willing to take a lesser role to pursue championships #4 and beyond for his legacy.

I think he's separating himself from the Micheal Jordan shadow too.

Hmm, Kyrie vs Klay... that's a tough one.

Klay is a much better defender, less of an heachache, is better off-ball, and a slightly better shooter. A better fit to win now, but he's injured.

Kyrie is younger, a better shot-creator, more consistent (less streaky), and a much better passer/playmaker. He's the better choice if we're thinking post-Lebron also.

It's close but I think I'd take Kyrie because he's immediately available, which cannot be brushed over given our window with Lebron.

I’m hoping Klay comes back in 6mo, otherwise I agree it would be a tough wait.

But I also think Kyrie is too much of a head case. I haven’t seen too much of either team that’s had him be devastated at the idea of him leaving. He just seems like a distraction, too selfish in general, and a bit of a locker room trouble maker to me.

kyrie's a kook. and it's an issue. i'd take him, of course, but he's lower on my list because of his off-court weirdness and injury history.

Klay could be back on the court in 6 months but I think it would take him at least another 2-3 months to find his rhythm, which may be a bit too late. He has a tendency to start off slow, and it takes him a while to find his groove. I don't think he'd be better than a healthy Kyrie at any point next season, and team chemistry will suffer accordingly.

I share your concerns about his maturity though. But he's proven he can work with Lebron and last I heard he's bff with AD?

Normally, I’d pick Klay, but under these circumstances...

    I’ll go for Kawhi.
