    Kyrie isn’t my top free agent target by any means, but I’d take him in a heartbeat. Lebron + Kyrie when locked in are pretty insane.

    1st stop should be Kawhi, but getting Kyrie is definitely not a consolation prize. Boston has tainted his greatness as a sidekick.

    Yeah Kyrie is a guy we needed this season. Someone that can go and get his and also take defensive attention away from Lebron/Ingram who needs an open driving lane.

    Yup, we aren’t turning anyone down and we shouldn’t. Kawhi is the top target, but I’ll take Kyrie’s whiny, selfish, arrogant/narcissistic self here too, it’s time to try and win.

    Kawhi is #1 on my wishlist too. I think a Kawhi/Lebron tandem makes us instant title contenders. Kyrie/Lebron duo still needs another star to go along with them to be title contenders in the West imo.

    Not gonna happen, I’ve joked about it when making fun of how bad this FO has been, but there’s no way they’re stupid enough to actually do it. We’d look like idiots, and it would be an insult to one of the greatest players to ever play who actually chose to come to this franchise. And I say that when I don’t even really like the guy.

    I actually don’t disagree. They just broke off talks with a coach he’s worked probably better than anyone with. You can still produce tv in any other state.

    Nothing close to equal value. Have to trade him to a contender or that team wouldn’t want to take him on because he’d be miserable, and we wouldn’t be able to gut that team or they wouldn’t remain a contender (similar issue the FO has when Kobe asked for a trade in ‘07). So we’d have to settle for like a young prospect, picks and a bad contract, or it would have to be for a “star” that’s equally unhappy where they are, I think like a Kyrie for Isaiah Thomas type deal.
