    MVP is historically the best player on the best team, so that doesn’t really fit.

    Plus Rondo has been out, so it isn’t definitively just him.

    There couldn't be a more perfect situation for Lebron. He's on paid vacation. If we win without him, he's "not all that". But now, since we've basically imploded without Rondo and him and other injuries in the lineup, he's getting credit for being so vital to everything we do.

    Our ceiling with this team is what, making the playoffs and maybe winning a round? Not worth rushing LeBron back for. This is a 4 year deal, he comes back when he’s fully healed, the goal remains a championship while he’s here, nobody said it would be year 1.

    Welp, the kids are getting an extended look without LeBron....they better step up in these next 3 games because those home losses to New York and Cleveland will really really hurt if lose all these games that we were supposed to lose.

    Then again...I can see the kids stepping up against the better teams because they'll "leave it out on the floor" as Ingram said...

    As long as it's competitive and close in the 4th quarter against the Thunder, Rockets and Warriors, I can't complain.

    If we win one of those games, I'd be ecstatic.

    Unfortunately this is the beginning of the end for LeBron as a dominant player, and as much as we did not want to admit that it was going to happen during the next four years, we had to know that it was at some point.

    He’s 34 years old with 40 years of mileage on him already.

    He will still be elite, but there is no denying the fact that he needs more players to step up around him. He also needs start giving up the ball a little bit more to save wear and tear, and I see that as one of his biggest challenges.
