Kuzma is in there... I was zeroing in on this phrase, where Zo isn't mentioned:
But you're right, Lonzo's mentioned earlier in piece.

Actually LeBron spends a decent amount of time in the post and he's been insanely efficient there.

He is efficient in the post. But watch Kobe's DETAIL episode on LeBron. He is passing up a lot of opportunities to venture out onto the perimeter. That's what I'm saying.

Actually last year he was 23rd in the league in post touches with 4.4 per game, trailing only the PF/C types in the league. He was first among forwards, just in front of Durant (4.3), Draymond (4.3), and oddly Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (4.2). Julius Randle as an example had 4.6 post touches per game and Brook Lopez had a surprising 5.5 post touches per game.

He plays the post, no doubt. But he needs to do it more as he ages. Durant is not a good example, and neither is Green. Neither of those even intend to post up in the offense, other than for split actions where they only want to pass. LeBron is a better post player than them both and should be establishing deep post position down low when he can, but he often opts against it. He might have been to gassed to fight down low in the playoffs, I don't know. But watch the DETAIL episode, you'll see what I mean.

I've seen it, but Kobe is pretty biased for post play. The first thing he told Ball was to get a post game. Kobe feasted off of that literally his whole career, but it's not a requirement for success. LeBron in the same split cut actions the Warriors run would be perfect. We'll see though, it's on Luke to figure that stuff out.

I don't know why, but that picture is when it first hit me...

LeBron James joins our pantheon of greats to put on the Laker uniform. Holy crap...

Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, James Worthy, Pau Gasol.

No wonder the league hates us.

If this wasn’t obvious from our moves, people aren’t paying attention. He can’t play like he has been forever, his body will fall apart. People have suggested he’ll move more into the post as he ages and loses athleticism, he’s improved his jumper and his 3 ball, the signs are there that a transition in play style will start at some point. Add to that the fact that we’re trying to play like the Warriors, we signed Rondo, he joined a team with a playmaker like Lonzo, another guy that dribbles a lot in Ingram, and I dunno, how freakin worn out he looked after games during the playoffs, he probably doesn’t want to do everything on every possession here.
