    Little late to the party (you said Tuesday f***ers, wanted me to stay away :p).
    I'm beyond hyped. Major respect for Bron, he came alone, didn't held us hostage. Commited for 4 years (Magic must have sold him on a great future plan). He chosed a tougher conference and showed big balls, wanting to play in P&G.
    The guy matured tremendously, take thah NBA.
    I'll now go to troll other teams boards, still have to send like a 100 messages with the "F U".
    I hope Cookie is working on that doom already :D
    One more thing... Nike better bring back the Puppets!
    Can't wait for the season to start, i'm getting a League Pass again :).

    I was asleep as this happened.

    What can I say? Magic has again overtaken Kobe as the greatest Laker again.

    Not only is this an epic day to get LeBron for free but it also helps to keep track of other NBA players and lure them to LA.

    This is a homerun. And for LeBron to commit for 4 years without any other player here to be his crime partner, it shows big cojones and utmost trust in the Lakers. By committing early he also made sure we do not jeopardize our future by doing a dumb move under pressure.

    Just grateful to have Magic strike like this pretty much after 1 year. That's an amazing accomplishment and shows that Magic can close given a chance. LA will be his city for ever.

    Ok I'll be that guy. I am not happy with this deal. Such an amount of money for his old a** for 4 years? And it seems we lose Randle as a result even though no other significant free agents joined? FML

    I understand why y'all so happy, and tried to see the future as bright as you do, but I just can't. Let's hope Bron won't break down on us.

    I will root for him strong now that he's a Laker, how could I not? I hope he can win me over and prove all my concerns were unjustified.

    Now let's hope we are not ready and can still retain Randle and add some cheap but productive pieces. Go Lakers!

    The important thing is we are relevant again.

    LeBron is admittedly a very old 33 but at the top of his game as we speak. It also erases memories of Lakers striking out every off-season and might help get Kawhi.

    Chris Paul just got 4 years and 160 mio. He is very much injury prone and plays a position that age is particularly cruel to. In other words this deal isn't bad at all. Also LeBron has a player option for the 4th year which means if his tank is empty he will retire gracefully rather than opt in to get 40 Mio which for him is chump change.

    This is an amazing day. No matter how you look at it. The ripple effects of this deal will be bigger than the deal itself.

    I'm a little sad for Larry lol. It was nice while it lasted but he and Clarkson will be lottery bound again for good.
