    Fake news! :Tabarnak:

LeBron had an amazing series. Reminded me of Kobe just destroying the Spurs in the WCF in the early 2000s. It seems he is finally over his playoff yips. Good job. Respect. Now go get swept in the Finals.

If its the Warriors I totally agree it should be a quick series though the media will quickly say how bad his teammates are. Now if its the CP3 less Rockets I could see that being a closer series.

This should probably be in the Kobe thread, but did anyone see what that clown Nick Wright was saying about Kobe’s tweet.

Lebron is a great player, but I really can’t stand this “weak player/no help” narrative. It just seems so forced and fake. It’s whatever, I guess Lebron is the only great that gets to have excuses. Everywhere Lebron goes, that will be his excuse when he loses. If/when he comes here, just be prepared for it.

Tell me the last team this bad that made it to the Finals. Take LeBron off that team and they're in the lottery.

    Now that s*** cray...

This squad was a bit more deficienct than his '07 squad. That is why the narrative keeps getting brought up.

However it is true that the East is weak and the Cbags weren't at fool strength. ;) But then again, neither were the Cavs if you consider Love going in and out of the lineup and essentially replacing Ky with GHill and a seldomly used Nance, JC and Hood.

I disagree. That’s another forced narrative. If Lebron wasn’t on the Cavs, #1 they’d run an actual team oriented offense and #2 they would most definitely make the playoffs and win a series or two in the East. The only team they would have to worry about would be the C Bags and whatever team Lebron was on, if he was still in the East.

No, why would I do that to myself. That guy’s opinion doesn’t matter, he is in fact as you said, a clown.

As a long-time LeBron hater, I gotta disagree. This team is crap, take LeBron off and they are indeed a lottery team. They took 2 players off of our team (a lottery team), and they can barely crack the rotation because they are so bad in the playoffs. LeBron is playing with other teams’ castoffs and scraps. George Hill is the only player they traded for at the deadline that actually contributed, and that was mainly defensively as he was very disappointing on offense. Smith and Korver, old and inconsistent. Thompson, inconsistent and overrated. Green, bounced from team to team and never really established himself. Calderon, Osman, Perkins, Zizic, LOL. Kevin Love is a very good player, but he didn’t have a great series either, and again, he didn’t even play in game 7, it’s like Kobe on those awful rosters missing Odom, yikes.

The only silly narrative here was that LeBron was finally going to miss the Finals, which some funny people say every season, and I laugh, and he makes the finals. I said it however many pages back in here, even citing examples from like 3 or 4 years ago.

Weez you definitely called it and I was one of those idiots that thought the cbags would shut the Cavs down. Seriously, their #1 defense against the Cavs #29 defense and how the f*** did this series get to 7 games, let alone the Cavs winning. That's crazy!

Also Love technically missed games 6 & 7.

Lebron beat a C Bags team minus their two best players, and it took him 7 games to do it. Let’s build him a statue outside of Staples if he comes in July.

It’s not really the opponent in the ECF that was impressive, it’s the totality of the playoffs he’s having, and the team he’s carrying. They completely destroyed the 1 seed Raptors in 4 games too, let’s not downplay that. LeBron is averaging 34, 9 and 9 in 41mpg in his 15th year. He’ll definitely get a statue from someone...

So my narrative, based on the empirical performance of LeBron's team, is false.

But yours, based on complete, 100% conjecture is the accurate one?

    Sure.

Warriors need to just finish the rockets so they can end LeBron and the Cavs. This year has gone long enough with the same stupid story. Let's get to the draft already.

Man, it’s stuff like this that gets my LeBron hate going again. Thomas is so salty, you could probably die of dehydration coming into contact with him.

Lol, I’m not measuring d**** here. I simply don’t agree with the “Lebron leaves, team becomes lottery” point. Has it happened before? Yes.

But you’re basing your data on something that hasn’t even happened. So whose point is and isn’t conjecture? This team, as constructed, has not played without Lebron, so in fact there is no data based on any empirical performance. If and when he leaves, then you can use that evidence to determine if this holds true or not.

I believe they would still be a playoff team. But again, I don’t mind being in the minority.
