This argument is just awful. So LeBron s***ing on the Raptors is his way of showing up his teammate? That's a hell of a reach. I guess Kobe was just a world class A-hole when he was dismantling Western Conference opponents in 09 and 10. Poor Pau. Kobe really made him look like a fool.
Better basketball? They'd been to 3 straight Finals. That's about as good as it gets. I think being away from LeBron may have played a factor but it's a miscalculation on Kyrie's part. LeBron had already handed much of the reins to Kyrie and had given him more opportunities than any teammate LeBron has had besides maybe Wade. The move to me was similar to the Kobe/Shaq breakup. Just keep playing and swallow your pride.
Odom was tremendous and was sold as the piece that would help free Kobe. He was the Love of that team without question and it took him going to the bench to complete that roster. Love is in the same place. Its a fair comparison. Love put up better numbers, but Odom was every bit as talented.
What kind of Fox News twist is this on my opinion? :D

I care about his career within the context of him joining the Lakers. If he doesnt, he can go rot in Philly the rest of his career, I couldnt care less. All I care about is improving this team and there's no better way to do that this summer than adding LeBron James.

This is what happens when you give really good players to role players too much money. Kevin Love is not a 22 million/player. 22 million a year is reserved for franchise players. Tristan Thompson getting 16 mil is terrible. he is more like a 8 million per guy. JR Smith is a MLE player if not less and George Hill making 20 million is tragic. He's is the same talent pool as JR smith.

Hate the man or not I expect Lebron to personally destroy the "lebron-stopper" next game. That is all.

I don't think their team defense will allow that. Tatum and brown matched up with him as well.

I agree to a point. However, two things:

One, there isn’t that many franchise players to go around, so teams end up spending on worse players.

Two, it’s up to coaches to put players in positions to maximise their potential for the betterment of the team. With Love, in particular, I think he is wasted in his current role. He for sure looked like a franchise player in Minnesota.

I think we are infatuated with stats a little too much. I do not concern myself with offensive stats anymore in the NBA. The possessions are at an all time high, it is more perimeter originated, which means there are more opportunities to score and assist and get those nice offensive numbers.

I look at team ball and how wins are accumulated. Looking at James Harden last night, he dropped one of the most unassuming 41 points you can drop in a playoff game. CP3 had a double-double and I didn't even know he was on the court. Stats in the NBA right now are like the Steroid Era in baseball. Inflated and all show with no substance.

I haven't watched the series but I know this much about any player Lebrons caliber. Most tricks work once. I think Lebron is a front-running baby. I don't think he is anywhere near the GOAT as the media has made him out to be. That being said, he is pretty much unstoppable if he wants to be. The Cavs can still lose but I don't imagine Lebron not dropping 30 on them. If his teammates step up he prob puts a triple-double on them. I def could be wrong but in this case he can be a lot like the Kobe's, MJ's, Shaq's, Bird's and Magic's in that if you personally get the best of him he is going to go after it.

Team D will work best if no one else on the Cavs hits shots. I don't imagine Bron going out like that in game 2 after all the hate he got.

He also called LeBron the greatest player to ever play the game. So that must be true.

Randle is your kind of player OX unless it is all lip service from you our guys are pansies and can't stay on the floor. So here's Randle working his a** off all summer and then like an ox he bangs players around all year long including bigger players. Your and our mantra ... availability matters. 82 of 82 games. Plays hurt .... well he didn't really get hurt did he but he did check your box off in his ability to play through pain with the busted finger later in the season.

Nah. None of that is good enough for you because Randle still a young growing personality ... you've determined isn't smart enough to be on the team. That's horse****. Not to mention he and they are works in progress mentally in a basketball sense as well as physically. We'll see what the Lakers actually do soon enough. Randle is a Rock down low and inflicts pain and Luke's asked him to be that kind of enforcer. THat's been quoted. You should try a little objectivity?

He's not wrong about being a destination and the positives that come from LeBron being here. The relationship would be very symbiotic.

If LeBron gets bounced by the C Bags, I think it's a given he ends up here with George. Keeping Randle is a luxury in my opinion, but one that I work hard to make happen if I can give up just picks to make it work.

Magic and Rob have a tough job, but they've been dealt a strong hand here as well.

We will let the results speak. Right now, Julius Randle has been an LA Laker for 4 seasons. That is more than half of an NBA players career average in the league.

He has produced zero all star appearances, been apart of zero playoff appearances. Has made zero all NBA teams. Made zero All NBA defensive teams. Has earned zero awards for his play.

All these zeros, and I have to submit to the fact that this player has all of a sudden earned a near to max contract in the NBA. Sorry, no thank you. You can all bring up all the ANALyrics you want, the results of zeros speaks louder.

Then you're a hypocrite with all your tough talk around here wanting that kind of player. A highly skilled one no less.

And no, your argument is that he's worth no more than 12M which is ludicrous. No one wants to pay him 22-25M. Dummy. Cuban may offer it.
