I don't like LeBron's stupid crap, but honestly he earned my respect the last couple years in Cleveland. He's a different player now than he was a couple years ago when the Lakers were a rival.

There was rivalry despite the fact that they are East?

^ For me, he was a "rival" as a potential finals opponent from 08-12 when the Lakers and Cavs/Heat were both contenders. And of course the whole Kobe v LeBron debate back then + the puppets.

For me he has a rivalry with what i see an athlete should be. Or even a pick up player in any sport.

Not if the contract length is more than 3 years. That is my ONLY concern with him coming here.

Haven’t been on in a very long while. Good to see everyone. Anyway, this is an interesting discussion and I see there are two camps obviously. I am more in the “Don’t want him” camp. There are so many reasons why, but I can say, Lebron as a “person” is not one of them.

I believe he may be a cool dude in real life, in basketball however, he needs to stay as far away from LA as humanly and scientifically possible.

I bet the average 14th man is cooler as a person. He is nothing special as a personailty.

Coming to a Lakers roster near us soon?

    http://www.businessinsider.com/lebr...rian-windhorst-2018-5?amp;utm_medium=referral

"ESPN's Brian Windhorst revealed on Bill Simmons' podcast that playing alongside James has at times taken a toll on Love. Windhorst said there had been days when Love left games feeling "beleaguered and beaten down" from James.

"Kyrie [Irving] opted out of what Love is dealing with," Windhorst said. "Love deals with the persecution of being a LeBron teammate, of being blamed, of dealing with his social media undercutting, of being the fall guy, as he's called himself ... There have been so many days and nights where Kevin Love has walked out of a building feeling beleaguered or beaten down either directly because of LeBron or [indirectly]."

He should demand a trade. He can opt out after next season so he has the same type of leverage PG had last summer and Kawhi has this summer. The guy was an absolute beast in Minnesota and I don't blame him for being frustrated at his role right now. Love to see him in Indy. Or heck, go to the Clippers.

    Hahah...soft!

So basically players can't handle the scrutiny of playing with a demanding player. If you can't handle the heat, get out the f***ing kitchen then, with your fragile kid-glove handling a**.

Howard bounced cause he couldn't handle it. We were all told there was a max cap spot for any free agent to link up with Kob and play with him till he handed them the keys...no one came.

Fans called Odom Doom and Pau Gasoft cause they weren't meeting Kob's demands at times.....where the f*** did these fans go?

The league is getting soft and apparently so are the fans/commentators now.

Get outta here with that weak a** s***, Windy.

    Btw...
Fitzy to NYC....Bron to NYC confirmed?

LeBron: “Ooh, oh no, someone get me a towel. Here baby, I got you, let me wipe it, I’ll hold this towel up for you. I’m such an awesome human being. It’s ok, we share an agent, gotta give my clients that special treatment”.

LeBron freaking OWNS the Raptors, and the entire country of Canada for that matter. Just absolutely crushing their souls tonight. Impressive as hell.

And yes, I think I would be open to having a player like that on my favorite basketball team. Crazy, I know.

I swear i heard Tristan T calling him a bit Czech Republic once in a broadcast when he helped him up. Kevin Love. That is weird.

LeBron does not pay well with others and that is the East.

LOL, I just said the same thing in NBA discussion. I expect the mayor of Toronto or someone high up to come out and go full Pedro Martinez soon, “LeBron is our daddy”. It’s got to be flat out embarassing for them, 59 wins and the 1 seed all flushed down the toilet in 2 games. LeBron just coats, bides his time, then boom, I’m sick of you Raptors, be gone. They will never win a thing until he leaves the East or retires, it’s all mental now. The Cavs had 98 points after 3 quarters and their 3rd and 4th best players are George Hill and JR Smith. :D
