best player in the league? ok.

unjustified criticism? id say a majority is completely warranted.

of course this is very opinionated, but I think the vast amount of hate LeBron gets is valid. he can only blame himself as he wipes away his tears with ben franks

Maybe you can elaborate why the hate is justified?

LeBron is one of the very few players in the NBA that is absolutely scandal free, no issues with drugs, women, anything. He has been a role model NBA superstar ever since he entered the NBA. He doesn't get bogus calls like Harden, Durant etc...he doesn't flop, he has never been unfair or a sore loser and he has never really had dirty plays either.

Does he sound like a douche sometimes? With the "check my stats" shirt or the chosen 1 tattoo etc.? hell ya but Kobe was exactly the same too. Thats nothing to write home about.

LeBron is an amazing player and has been for 15 years.

If you believe what I bolded/enlarged above, then well....idk what to say. I think we may be too far on the end of each spectrum. and ive never said he wasn't great, but I do think he is a sore loser, weak minded and a drama king. and yes- he most definitely flops. that is plain as day and there are countless examples just from his most recent series alone.

    @sirronstuff you got anything?

It was 9 years ago, but he did have a poor sportsmanship scandal. Remember when he stormed off the court without shaking hands after being eliminated by Orlando?

This was my only concern too. All I’ve seen are petty reasons for the hatred. Not justified!

Harden is the Flop King, hands down, and that would make CP3 the Prince of Flop. They have flopping built into their most effective moves. I don’t really mind flopping from LeBron as much because he’s usually the biggest guy out there at his position and he gets hacked at times with no calls. Sort of in the same way that Shaq used to. Size matters.

Kobe got hacked as well, but never really flopped too much. We lauded him for that, but Lakers fans screamed about how Kobe doesn’t get calls and if he did his point totals would be way higher and he would be even more dominant. So if LeBron does that to get some justice or balance out the no calls, then I can’t blame him. As a spectator I would prefer no flops from anybody, but the refs have to do a better job in terms of being consistent with everybody.

    LLLLLebron doesn't flop?

    :Crazyartest:

    :KobeConfused:

Oh wait, I see what's going on.... He didn't flop, he had a "minor injury" instead of cramps that just made him randomly fall down with little to no contact.

    :Laughingcop:

    I CALL.....

    :FishPoint:[IMG] :KobePoint:

There is literally no way anyone legitimately believes LLLLLebron doesn't flop. He's an outstanding player..... [IMG]

    yep. just like shaq

and i get the parallel you are making as well and lebron def gets hit with no fouls called...its him flopping to get calls that gets me riled up. shaq, kobe, jordan never did that

But if Shaq, Kobe and Jordan did, would you have hated them? There’s already one admission in this thread that merely the sight of LeBron’s face justifies the hatred. So you see how flimsy the argument can get. I thought Jordan got a way with getting free calls, and not being called much for traveling, but didn’t hate him.

    Says the guy with that...

Well would you say comparing Bron's mug to yours is like comparing apples to oranges?
