I’m starting to think we aren’t ever going to agree on this topic.

I'll go back to hating him with you once LeBron doesn't sign here. :D

But for now he presents the best opportunity for this franchise to turn around.

And for what it's worth, I hope that you and the other hater brigade (said with love) will be alright if he does sign here. It's all about the Lakers getting over the C Bags in the end.

I will NEVER root for LLLLL
    I don’t want him here
And if he does come, I will be at a crossroads I’d prefer not to ever have to deal with.
I may be taking an extended break if it happens, because like I’ve said, I can’t watch a game and manage my dry heaves at the same time.

I’m shocked LeBron took Kyrie. His team is better than Steph’s though, I know DeRozan is having a great year but he’s not Durant. Embiid being a starter says more about the sad state of the center position in the nba than how good he is though.

I want to see a line up of Love, Lebron, KD, Westbrook and Kyrie out there at the same time.

Wasn’t George ineligible? I’m still super unclear on how this starter selection process worked. I thought they could only choose from the pool of players that received the most votes for each position.

Edit: yes, looked it up, only the players selected as starters were eligible to be selected. Top 2 backcourt and frontcourt players according to fan votes from each conference, chosen by the top 2 overall vote getters from each conference

George wasn't even voted an All-Star though so he couldn't pick George if he wanted to.

LeBron has certainly been very complimentary of Boogie all year though. I think he's definitely sowing seeds.

If he sits next to Boogie on the bench and is doing the secret conversation thing with his mouth covered by his jersey like with Lonzo ..... we'll know.

Yeah Weez, you right. I was just f***ing around. That list is alphabetical, so Boogie's name was written first.

Steph and Bron did a snake draft. So LaBron picked 1st and they alternated amongst the starters (top 10 fan/player/media votes) till Steph picked the 8th and final starter. Then Steph picked the first reserve (ie 9th overall pick) and they alternated till LaBron picked the 22nd and final pick (of which the reserves were picked by all the NBA coaches).

So George essentially got d***ed over by NBA coaches...not the fabs, players or media. I guess other than Donovan and Walton, no one was really trying to butter his feelings up.

do we want a cousins coming off a torn Achilles? I'm not really familiar with big men in the past coming back from that injury as much as small forwards/shooting guards

That's fine. I'll be over here watching the Lakers in the Playoffs. :D

And with so many of you jumping off the Boogie wagon (I'm still almost positive he gets a max offer maybe for less years), LeBron/George might be our only option now.
