We're preparing for the post Lebron ERA. My guess is he knows this is his last chance at a chip, and then tries to catch on somewhere is Jr. is drafted. This may or may not be the swan song. But depending how he plays, we may or may not hope he exercises his option. We're set up well for the future.

Ham is a bit of a fan boy so Lebron can chuck as many threes as he wants :ADGlance:

Nothing wrong with it, he is being a company man . Besides, that kid really put him on the spot, he had no choice but to answer.

LOL .... practicing what we ALL want to see out there.

    :swear: :swear:

Get your a** in the high post .... no more pound the ball and step back 3s!

Obviously he needs to be a threat from 3 though so I guess carry on LeBron.

To be fair, one on zero or one vs the Russ paddles isn't doing much for a year 21 Bron. I want him working on those high and low post moves against live bodies in training camp.

Why is he doing this? He should be in the gym, working on his three-point sho....

    ...uh... wait...

OK, maybe not. Looks pretty in practice, won't be great during the regular season. Yes, he should take some threes, but please don't overdo it with dribbling and step-back shots, please. It's just not necessary with this team. Work in the post and make plays for others whenever possible.

i have lots of feelings about clips like this. one of them is how amazing it is to me that guys reach the pinnacle of the profession without really being locked in. a lot of kobe and lebron adoration stories read to me like "...so...i learned that they...try hard...and pay attention to stuff..." and it makes me think...why the f*** don't you, brother?! why is it alien to have studied opposing teams' plays? i get the talent stuff, but getting to the gym early and not doing a lot of coke shouldn't be "wow" moments for the mentee.

anyway, if i'm an indy fan listening to turner be like "i didn't really realize i was playing basketball until game 3", i'm not encouraged. even if it was then. because it's not like you became a new guy in the intervening years.

their run is over for championships

they will be competitive, but literally everything would have to fall their way, including lots of big injuries for them to compete for the championship.

    I just don't see it

The foot injury reporting remains so bizarre.
No one really has told us what "popped" - was it his plantar fascia as Bill Simmons keep reporting? Never really confirmed by anyone like Pelinka and James
Also is he completely recovered from whatever it was? Pain-free?
