Definitely looked gassed in the first half. Whole team couldn’t get it going which I expected after we let last nights game go to overtime. Tough to watch but wasn’t unexpected to me.

Looked so tired early in the game. Too bad, but we move on.

If we are keeping it 100 in here, we were on a back to back (we went to OT) and they had 4 days rest. Also, when the Clippers play us it is their NBA Finals. Let's not freak out about this one, this was entirely predictable.

For the members who want LeBron taking a bunch of 3’s during the last few games to get back into shooting rhythm/shape, why? The NBA 3 point shooting percentage average this year is 36%. Bron is shooting near Westbrook level at 30% for the year and it’s not a coming back from injury reason. He shot 1 month above average in November at 37% these are his other months below.

    October 26.1
    November 37.3
    December 29.1
    January 31.3
    February 28.6
    March 25.0

LeBron needs to delegate the 3pt shooting to Reaves and DLO

I do agree with that. He should take some open threes, but we do have people who shoot better from long range, so Bron should focus on penetrating, setting up teammates and saving his energy to play some defense. He doesn’t need to score nearly as much.

He was the worst player on the court in the first half and the best player on the court in the second half. Shame he started the game so poorly, the team was never able to recover.

Lebron is going to need to get his jumper right if the Lakers are going to do anything meaningful this year. He shot 37% from 3 on 7 3PA per game in his last two playoff runs. It's much easier to slow the offense down if he isn't going to attempt them. I'm fine with him getting up the reps now.

he can take threes, just not pull up threes unless it's a completely broken play. in the utah game, most of the threes he took off the catch were ok, imo. i'm sort of surprised someone as smart as lebron has stuck with the dribble pull up jumper in late game situations this long. he's really bad at them.

Lebron’s 3% average over his entire career post season is 33.7%. He did shoot 37% from 3, in the full bubble season and 2 years ago but that was only for 6 games. I’m much more interested about how he’s shooting from 3 this full season when he’s 38 years old not in his mid 30’s and that % is terrible.

Why is the right question to ask. When Lebron starts shooting what I consider lazy threes is usually when he is physically tired or mentally worn out. He knows better. I prefer him using his strength to punish teams taking the ball to the hoop and setting up our shooters or playing off ball and cutting. The lazy threes are the worst version of him and bog us down. I know it is hard for any coach to do but that is when Ham needs to rest him.

Context. Russ been at it all night... or the select minutes he was deemed worthy to be a participant for by the GOAT Ty Lue.

But, but analytics say EVERYONE should be jacking low percentage shots behind the arc! Also, just ask Antoni since he’s won so many Championships with this tactic.
