Well he couldn't take a backseat that much with Austin out and after Luka hurting again

He had to try to create and the Floppers did a god job on him

I don't dispute the reasons, just note the outcome.

Trying to get 50K at the risk of losing the game was the thing I didn't like

The old man didn't have it last night. Agree with the sentiment that we finally have a team that can handle injuries and our big guns not playing their best games.

Yeah seriously … what have you done for us the last “quarter” type picky. He’s the effing player of the month for Feb and averaging virtually 29 a game on 55% and 43% from deep plus stepped up defense and always the rebounds and assists.

Talking heads in the press ALWAYS criticize James for wanting good players as teammates... Hypocrites. Most of them were on or had the same situation or on plain abject losers wishing they did. Like Jordan once said "let's see Magic with Granville Waiters!"

Lebron having a down game is fine. However he doesn't have to make low reward passes. That's just stubborn decision making. His unforced turnovers got the Clippers in the game if those positions were just basic, the Lakers score here and there at least and they could have ended the game faster.

JJ maybe needs to just call a timeout and let Lebeon simmer down a little. That's all we are asking, don't risk if you don't have it at least.

My wife (who likes the Lakers but is still learning the game) tonight: Why does LeBron keep throwing the ball to the other team?

I actually think what LeBron is doing right now is pretty amazing and think he should legitimately be in the running for MVP.

Not his best night last night but I'm not down on him at all.

I don't get it either. Dude has been playing out of his mind for a month straight and one bad game and people want to throw him under the bus.

It's embarrassing to even criticize this man's game.
Absolute unique season. He'll be key in winning playoff series, keep him fresh

You know, according to Hoopshype Global Rating, which is pretty cool, Bron is currently performing as the 6th best player in the league, which is absolutely insane. Yes, the guy had a bad game, literally passed the ball to opposing players, but that happens. Be better tomorrow, right? :)

But seriously, this is extremely impressive. At least now, when Bron is off, you bench him and put Luka in, making your opponents pull out their hair. And vice versa, of course. That has to be tough to deal with. We still won that game, with Bron playing poorly, us missing two valuable starters (and leaving cca. 35 points on the table just for those 2) and Kawhi had an absolutely vintage game.

They had Zubac, who is the type of player we - supposedly! - have no answer for, but we did just fine with Jax starting at the 5 and Vando being the "energizer bunny" that he usually is. None of that mattered and we beat them twice in a row. So, I am OK with Bron just doing what he does, acknowledging that he had a bad game, of course.

Speaking of that Hoopshype rating, in the last 365 days of NBA basketball, Bron ranked #7. Currently, in the last week I think, Luka was #7 and Bron #8, but obviously Luka can play noticeably better than this. Or at least more efficiently.
