He's trying to put the all time TO record out of reach even if Westbrook plays another few years lol

he's just putting his TO record out of reach so not even Westbrick can challenge it if he plays til 40.

Kudos to a job well done!

Your 48 millions paid player needs some rest not even 6 weeks after the beginning of the season ..

I really hope he retires after this one

Definitely needs a game or two off IMO but I don’t know that we’ve got enough talent on the team right now to rest him.

I think age along with playing in the Olympics are impacting him.

no way most of those TO are due to him breaking down...just carelessness and having O awareness of his problem

now that we're out of the cup, we have like a week off in december, right? between the 8th and 19th.

we have some tough games ahead of that (including a road utah game that lebron and AD need to show up for and not take lightly), but then lebron needs to make his annual trip to miami if we have hopes of remaining in the top 6.

4 game road trip (utah, minny, miami, atlanta), then home against portland. just go 3-2 there and maybe hope that lebron can get some rest and maybe we can make some minor roster tweaks when trade season officially opens.

We do have a week off. I completely forgot that. Yeah, that will help him. Probably help AD too.

agree that we need to have a solid showing here and not lose any of the games we should win. That Orlando loss still bugs me.

in fairness, orlando was 9-1 during that stretch; they were playing great. it sucks that we lost to two hot teams (okc and orlando) at home mostly due to late game mental mistakes from our stars.

but yeah, that was also a bad one because the hangover led to two truly putrid team performances. yuck.

very curious to see how we look on this road trip. we kind of fell apart on a road trip in december last year, right?

Look at his box score; he's had more than 3 or 4 TO's in multiple games in a row. Definitely slipping out there. He's starting to show his age in some facets. If he's retiring next year, that's a good time, IMO.

As for the rest of this season? I'd talk to him about taking some games off and prepping for the PO's...

don't know that we can afford to sit him for full games. but i think we can try to scale his minutes all the way back to 30 or under as often as possible. it's not like when he sits we automatically fall apart this year like in recent years.

anyway, his dropoff has been pronounced enough this year that it's lowered the team's ceiling.

Free Knecht on offense and bring him along and encourage him to create his own shots too, as his handles improve ..... also to help take up the scoring slack when LeBron is out.

He really wanted to keep Bronny away from Vegas so he mailed it in these recent games. No, I just think he needs that mini break they will get by not having to defend the IST title.

Just two weeks ago, he being praised for his great play. What looks worse this season, especially recently -- athleticism, finishing, and TOs. Those at the shots at the rim are dying in front of the rim more often. The J is coming and going but the % is still really strong.

The defense isn't going to be there for 4 out of 5 games, maybe we can get a full quarter with him locked on depending on the weight of the game and matchup. But if he's going to be bad defensively, the TOs have to get cleaned up.

I agree with abeer, we're not good enough to DNP - old Bron. Maybe if we hit on trade season, maybe then. But on most nights we have 5 NBA players in the rotation. When you're that thin, you can't afford to sit anyone.
