Gave it everything he had. Battled all night. Gave up his body against Joker. Didn't settle for the Bron 3 on the final shot. Couldn't ask for more from him tonight.

Old man left it all out there. Last shot got blocked but I don’t mind him attacking the rim. Great game just wasn’t meant to be this time.

Yeah... still should have given up the ball. Can't blame him, he didn't shy away from this, but it was because there was no ATO play.

Should have given up the ball both times.

To who though? Team was dead in the second half. I'll trust the resumé at that point.

I hope nobody here is going to fall for the moronic drivel that Van Gundy and Jackson were spewing in the second half?

WhY iSnT lEbRoN aTtAcKiNg MoRe? iS iT bEcAuSe He DoEsN’t LoVe iT? GrEaT pLaYeRs IgNoRe ThE fAtIgUe

They say about the 38 year old playing on an injured foot who played the entire 48 minutes, was an assist away from a 40 point triple double, and frequently tasked with guarding the Nuggets best player and doing a damn good job at it, whether it was their star C or their star PG.

Left it all on the floor, can’t complain about that effort at all.

I’m optimistic that after healing his foot injury over the summer he’ll be able to come back at another level (since he showed some greatness prior to the foot injury this year). BUT, realistically at his age, I do think we have to account for the likelihood that he’ll experience some more injures. If we’re making a deep playoff run with 39 year old Lebron, more likely than not he’ll be hobbled with something.

Point being, we really need to pivot away from relying on Lebron hero ball going forward

48 minutes of and did awesome on both offense and defense.

Others guys need to step up period no matter the last 2 shots. Look at Denver they had everyone step up who played

He was super human in the first half. Came back down to earth in the second but gave it everything. I wish AD would have done the same. Good on ya Lebron. That was an amazing performance trying to stave off elimination.

Yeah obviously Denver made adjustments and wasn't gonna just let him get to the hoop like that. On top of a 38 going on 39 year old playing the full game. He needed more guys to make shots, and other than Reaves, no one else could make timely shots.

he's not retiring until he plays with bronny

but why already give up on next season? health is the biggest factor, but they could very well contend again with this roster and the right moves

We will see next year if the foot was the problem or it's just father time slammed the door wide opened.

Not having to play with Westbrook for half the year and having younger guys stepping up to get you through those 82 will really help -- AR, Rui, DLO or his replacement.

Not having to scoop that water out of the boat with a teaspoon for half the season and treating every game since February like a playoff game, that will be huge for how much he'll have in the tank next post-season.

I expect he'll miss several games. Every star does in today's game.

Just made the Western Conference Finals after less than half a season with the current team. Definitely should run it back.

Get surgery on the foot, rest up and let’s go for it again.

To the guy shooting a ridiculous percentage from 3 and 2 and who just nailed a 3 pointer to tie (or what was it)?

Denver won because their role players hit shots, but also... because they got those shots.
