If Ham inverted Reaves and Bron playing time , maybe we would have won .

Again we have others offensive weapons , no need for these " I'm spent" bricked threes

Wish we had a Rondo on the team that could pull Lebron to the side and tell him to stop shooting

LeBron James is 1 of 20 on three-pointers in the fourth quarter this postseason.

Last time he made three in 4-th quarter it was a game number one in Memphis .

And it makes sense, because I feel most of the bad threes are borne from fatigue/complacency… leading to poorly selected shots that are even less likely to go in.

And I get it, he’s 38, with a serious foot injury that will likely require surgery. And I think for the most part he HAS been good this postseason about attacking the rim AND giving a lot of energy on defense.

So it’s not as simple to say “Instead of shooting the three, why didn’t he just drive in and dunk it?!”

I get why that’s not always a realistic possibility. The key is that when he doesn’t have the energy to attack… that doesn’t mean settling for the lazy 3 is the only alternative.

Simply give up the rock and let AR cook! It shouldn’t be that complicated!

And while I do think Lebron is mostly to blame for this, maybe some of it is the rest of the team still succumbing in certain scenarios to giving LeBron the ball, and then ball watching hoping he bails us out.

I think AR is the best in that regard, there are crunch time plays where he’s feeling it and it seems like he’ll almost wave off Lebron and have the confidence to create himself. But I’d like to see that same aggression from the rest of the team.

Lebron has to suck it up. I give him respect for playing hurt, but that also comes with the territory, of being the "Kang". He has to make some better decisions, and maybe try to get his wingman the ball more. He and AD didn't get the job done last night period. I'm not expecting Austin or Rui to have to bail them out, the role players did their job in that game IMO. I do think that D'Angelo has been lacking too, but it ulitimately falls on Lebron and AD.

Doesn't have the explosion to blow by whoever is covering him due to his foot (now ankle) so James settles for the three hero ball.

That’s the reality of the situation. And he can’t hunt mismatches all game, they adjust. But it’s up to us to adjust back.

The worst shot in our offense, and he takes 5 of them over the last 2 games when we have a chance to win. Remember when Wade refused to shoot 3s? They won because of it.

He is not the cerebral player he once was. Not even close. Many of his failures (not boxing out, missed FTs, missed lay ups, etc) are age and mileage. But the ones that cost us these games (off the dribble 3s during 1 possession games, not attacking Murray when he had 5 fouls, fadeaway jumpers, showboat dunks, bad turnovers…) are because of laziness, stubbornness, and idiocy.

This series and season may be over tonight. Will need to be D Lo, AR, Rui and AD. If the Lakers win, Ham should limit Bron’s minutes more next games so he has some brain cells left to close games the smart way.

Pure ego and stupidity. We're all bemoaning the fact that we picked up a volume shooter in Beasley who hasn't been able to shoot, but meanwhile Reaves has been stepping up and killing it from 3, getting better each series in the playoffs, and has the tested and competition certified Big Balls to take BIG shots. Was 5 for 9 from deep this game. But Nooooo!! Dumba** goes 0-6 from deep and keeps jacking them in crunch time.

Well, he is hitting most other shots. Or maybe he wants them to expect more 3s, but he’s going to operate in the paint only. Metagaming at its finest. :)

Why is he bringing the ball from left across to the right like that: don't like the mechanics there.

And injured. Open question is that what he'll look like next year where is a clear number 2 guy not number one or will look like he did before the foot injury
