I’ve personally never seen anything like it, been watching the NBA since ‘93

And he survived and took control of his destiny after having the worst supporting cast of any of the top 20 greats for his first seven years.

THIS is how he should be attacking defenses- in the post!!!
Man, just when we thought his foot was going to continue to slow him down, he puts out this performance.

Another interesting tidbit, since he's breaking every single record in the NBA:

LeBron is 38-10 in closeout games, the best in NBA history.

    LeBron, 38-10
    Duncan, 35-14
    Wade, 22-9
    Shaq, 33-14
    Jordan, 30-13
    Kareem, 37-16
    Magic, 32-14
    Durant, 21-10
    Kobe, 33-16
    Bill Russell 25-16
    Bird, 22-17
    Dr. J, 24-21

    Others without 20+ closeout wins:

    Curry, 19-9
    Kawhi 17-10
    Hakeem, 16-10
    Wilt, 18-17
    K. Malone, 19-24

Yeah... if, by some miracle, we win it all this season, Bron is the GOAT and there is no more arguments to be made.

Why would you say that? As always it’s health for him and AD and our most important players but especially them. We are going to be even better next year when Rob is through with his next moves and how we use the draft or move the pick(s) …. plus a entire training camp and the improvement of our other important players that are shining already NOW. Great shot at present though definitely!!

because father time has finally caught up to him and it's pretty obvious at times. he's still playing at an unseen level for a guy with his mileage, but you can tell he's having to push himself a lot harder than he had to in the past. he's not getting any younger

He has been dealing with the foot but don’t look now …. has been lately moving a lot better. More like when he was scoring 30-35 a night efficiently during his breaking of the record run before he got hurt. It’s not like he’s falling off a cliff performance wise IF he’s healthy and as mentioned for all the other reasons the TEAM should be better next year. It’s not LeBron and a bunch of scrubs. The two of them should remain the top duo in the league if healthy.

If you don't like that, you don't like NBA basketball :).

I was hoping for a great LeBron game, and boy did he deliver. A masterpiece by one of the greatest ever.

Denver doesn't scare me with the way this team has been playing and after this showing by James.

I’m really curious to see what happens with his foot in the off-season. My guess is he has immediate surgery. The guy was averaging 35 a game in January, I’m not convinced it’s Father Time.

One might call this "killer instinct"? idk just a guess...

    • LeBron has now won 16 straight closeout games at home in the playoffs.

    • He is also 76-0 when his team is leading by 10+ entering the 4th quarter.

some call that frontrunning, but I call it dominant if you are ahead by 10 that many times entering the 4th

I’m still completely information less on what happened, how it improved enough after a month or whatever for him to be able to at least start playing again and what will need to be done procedurally …. with his foot. The classic LeBron line (twice now) that he heard a “pop” would seem to indicate at least that a tendon snapped or something broke. But it didn’t get repaired. Kobe had that tendon in his hand go mid season and to my recollection never did get it repaired? Can you do tendons a half year after the fact if that’s what it was?
