Punt this year, sell everyone outside of Big 3 and make improvement around the edges for a run at 2022/2023

    Develop Reaves, THT, Stanley.

Let's see if they can get any picks of value for Monk, Melo, Bradley, Dwight, etc. We have to be sellers.

Love ya, LBJ - but stay out of personnel decisions.

Just being a realist. This season is over, just like last was due to injuries. Even when “the big three” were healthy and playing together, the pieces were less than the sum of their parts. Don’t let me stop you from hoping on a star that somehow Russ will completely transform his brain and playing style into a great complimentary piece alongside AD and LeBron. I’m just stating my opinion, that’s all.
The main point is I would rather LeBron be healthy at the beginning of next season than try to hard and injure himself even worse, just to salvage this one. It’s the long game.

Yeah, that’s the problem- these guys can’t seem to remain healthy.

nobody will give any good picks for any of those guys because they'd all be short-term rentals. with the exception of monk, the buyout market will have better players that cost nothing.

we just need to not GIVE UP any more assets trying to finish 8th instead of 10th.

If we create a bidding war a package of players involving Monk/Melo/Dwight/THT (Salary filler dude), I bet there'd be some takers. UTA struggling, DEN trending up, ATL moving up fast, NYK. There are squads out there. It would be a giant hit to the pride this year but they have to endure some bad PR like the Warriors did last 2 years.

I think 1st round picks would be a pipe but if we can come away with 2 or 3 2nd round picks? That would be great. Imagine a few youth being added to our roster, cost controlled for next year. I like our scouting department they're good.

Or adding those 2nd round picks to attach to a Westbrook trade during summer?

I agree with you abeer we cannot give up assets but guys No.4 all the way down the squad outside of the kids (Stan, Reaves mostly) can go

I wish we could keep Monk but from his thread the article said he's looking to get paid. I'm not sure if he'll take a $6 mil starting salary.

yeah, my hope is that we've talked with both russ and monk about summer plans already and know what page everyone's on. if russ won't take a cut, then i agree we should deal monk for anything we can get.

we already made a mistake not understanding the schroder situation at last year's deadline.

Probably shouldn’t play old dudes 37+ minutes a game.

Maybe he should think about exiting games when we’re down 20 plus. I know he wants his precious points but he’ll have other opportunities.

If first I thought he said up 20 points, but then I realized that would be sarcasm.

that was interesting, but i feel like the big part was left out: it seems these cysts don't form spontaneously. they are a response to something going on in the joint. so they probably drained the fluid in hopes that it was a random thing, and it came right back. so the question is what's happening in the knee joint to generate the fluid/swelling? feel like there aren't great answers here.
