We were literally the worst franchise in the NBA for a 6 year stretch before Lebron joined. Lakers had become such a laughing stock that free agents were openly mocking us. So poorly run that they had to beg Lamarcus Aldridge for a 2nd meeting in free agency because the first presentation was embarrassingly awful.

Most teams are terrible when their franchise superstar retires. Spurs are the anomaly in that they seem to get lucky and win the lottery each time a franchise player retires.

Be careful what you wish for. When Lebron eventually leaves or retires, current evidence suggests this franchise will be awful for the 5-10 years that follow.

He was a freaking role player what the hell are you talking about?? He was a good team player and awesome 3 point shooter, not a superstar supposed to deliver championships. He did his job exceedingly well for 15 years. You just love to HATE for any old reason.

 

It’s easy for LeBron to win a ring when he doesn’t have to travel and play in empty arena like a shoot around . Go out and party in ORL every night then come and barely beat a depleted HEAT team . Anyways that’s a different discussion.

we are going to be dealing with long dark days ahead either he leaves or not, I just wish we started our dark days sooner than later . There is no championship coming to us in the next 2 yr . LeBron will Party and burn out in Paris and his last yr will be his goodbye tour yr .
