Happy Birthday Kobe Bryant, here are top 10 plays of his career Kurt Helin Aug 23, 2015, 11:02 AM EDT Happy Birthday to Kobe Bryant, who turns 37 today. He’ll likely celebrate by only working out for five hours. There are few rabbit holes deeper than the Kobe Bryant highlights list on YouTube, but to celebrate the Black Mamba’s 37th birthday we went down that hole and settled on NBA.com’s Top 10 plays from Kobe’s career. (While the video is a couple of years old, it still works very well.) Kobe is nearing the end of his career, but he’s going to leave it on his terms. Or at least he’s going to try. He will be back on the court this season leading what fans and management hope are the next generation of Lakers’ stars — D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle — by showing them tough love and how to play the game with a high IQ. He will show them how to put in the work. He will show them what it means to be a Laker. And he will still make some plays that just drop your jaw. Because that’s part of what Kobe does. http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....here-are-top-10-plays-of-his-career/#comments
^^ It feels like there are a million other moments that are as great as those ten though. Kobe is just unbelievable. When he hangs it up I will watch every freaking highlight I can and just soak it in. It's been incredible to be a Laker fan throughout his entire run. He's given us so much.
You won't ever think of us as little people when both of you have jobs with the "mothership" (ESPN) ....... will you? Be careful, sometimes you have to take the "hood" with you if you get our drift.
I'm going out for a drink with my brother and some friends tomorrow. You're invited to join. It will be great! Location: Stare Siolkowice, Poland
I know you just want to earn an invitation too. That's fine, because it just so happens that I'm going to a bar with some good friends tomorrow ,to watch the soccer game of Poland against Germany (Euro Cup Qualifiers). You may consider yourself invited . It's going to be a grrrrrrrrreat evening I just discovered that there is in fact a direct flight connection from LA to Wroclaw (where I live and plan to celebrate Poland's great defeat of Germany tomorrow). How lucky are you guys...
Should explain ^^^ I have absolutely no dog in the Poland vs Germany Soccer competition. I just wanted to echo what I thought was BigDan's question about how was the beer and the get together with your friends? In case he was "mocking" because of a Germany defeat of Poland ..... I was not "piling on".
