I just wish Kobe would take some advice once in awhile.....

Even all time greats can continue to learn and get better.

Kobe has got to lead in a manner that equips these guys. I'm not saying dont be harsh on them, but its a different generation...taking an interest in these boys outside of basketball (for Kobe ball is life but thats Kobe).... complimenting them when they do good, etc can go a long way. Yes its a man game and its a brutal NBA but its a different generation...they respond better to praise. Gotta play the good cop/bad cop role in equal amounts.

Kobe has to try and stay healthy all year, it's best to be teaching these kids when he's out there with them.

I think that is a too small amount of minutes. Am expecting Kobe to be back to no more than usual, non catastrophic injuries (couple days here and there) that don't sideline him for the season like last 3 years. Surprise all the nay sayers that want to put him in the rocking chair pre-maturely. Knock on my head for wood.

Well the less minutes he plays, the more shots he's going to jack up LOL
He said it himself he's not going to be that player that averages 17,18 pts.
So give him enough minutes to average 20 pts.

I hope somebody in the media has some balls and writes an article involving the love child CP3 driving a player away.

Or does that just work for Kobe? Yea too much optimism there.

The way Chris Paul treated him was at times inexcusable. The way he publicly shamed him was just unacceptable and yet nobody called him on it then.

CP2 is the ultimate teammate , the ultimate competitor , the 2nd best PG of all time ( advanced stats say he's better than Magic ) ... still he has not passed the 2nd round yet and blew up a 3-1 lead to a team which was blown out in 3 of these 4 games ... Are the medias lying to us ?

Just wanted to point out diminishing options, and it's July 4th....

Be interesting to see how excited Kobe would be for options after the 5-6 ways. Did ANY scenario he was excited about include even more young unproven talent that he can't win with?

First there was the Matt Barnes non flinch episode where Matt pretended to throw the ball at Kobe's face and Kobe didn't flinch at all.

    Now there's this....

Kobe is just too locked in and focused.

I wonder if that's for real or was staged for fun? Looks kinda real. That giant thing jumping out in front of you unawares would shake most people up.

He might not be thrilled but short of signing LMA or DeAndre, which he knew was a long shot, we've come up pretty well. Kobe likes playing with good bigs and Roy Hibbert with 100% effort is up there.

He knows it's his twilight years.....this is the best middle ground they could reach between the Lakers creating their future while still giving Kobe something to work with. It would be absolutely idiotic for the Lakers to trade, Russell and Randle let' say, for Jimmy Butler. Actually it wouldn't be that idiotic but you get one guy who can be an elite player versus potentially 2 franchise cornerstones.

Kobe knows he's on his last legs....if the Lakers believe in Russell and Randle it'd be folly for them to bring in Butler for at best 2 years of contending with Kobe and then be in mediocrity for the next 5.
