What annoys me the most, is the fact that ESPN knows exactly what the are doing when they put him 40th. They don't just put him at 40. They write their own articles talking about putting Kobe at 40. They know they'll get people riled up about it, then people will read their other articles.
fantasy wise, they have him at 36...right behind Eric Bledsoe and Kemba Walker...shooting guard wise, they have him 3rd behind Harden and Monta
Jordan and Walker? Really? I'd like to know what standards ESPN is using in these rankings. Game impact? Team success? Random notions out of their collective behinds?
So Kobe is 40th according to ESPN and "done" according to some "experts" that Broussard spoke to, who watched a couple preseason games. The haters will never stop, and the "experts" will never learn. This is preseason, if anyone thinks Kobe is going %100 right now they don't know Kobe or NBA ball. But sure, he's "done". We badly need that eye rolling smiley here, or that "you can't be serious/are you stupid?" one from CL.
These so called NBA experts expect Kobe to go 100% I preseason? I swear some people on this board are more qualified.
Someone please refresh my memory....what exactly was the primary catalyst for ESPN's anti Kobe crusade? I vaguely recall Kobes..former agent (? Or someone that wanted to be his agent?) causing the initial rift with ESPN potentially out of bitterness. It's obvious ESPN is trolling for hits ( of which they get NONE from me . I haven't been to ESPN's website for years) but this has been going on for a long time now.
I am pretty sure that someone on espn cant count till 40...so they messed up ranking couse there is no other explanation...
my league sources forgot Broussard was still around. weird that someone so brainless hasn't been shamed out of the business yet. I mean, this isn't "reporting". it's gossip. if you don't think kobe can play anymore, be a man and say it. because that's what you believe. instead, he trolls for others to say it, then "reports" it. yeah, great work, fella. btw, suggesting that kobe's finished as a superstar isn't exactly climbing out on a limb.
Henry Abott called Kobe the WORST Player in the league last year, and thinks they (Bspn) overrated him this year with rank 40... They're clearly trolling, no way on earth can they actually believe that.
