Curry is incredible, but no player that plays exclusively on one side of the ball can be considered a top 10 player.
i think he's worked hard to make himself less of a liability on that end. but he's still hunted purposefully by most opponents, so the point stands. nobody hunted kobe until he was old and his team sucked. and even then, they wouldn't have dared try an iso unless it was with a top-tier pg. i'm obviously biased, but i have kobe ahead of curry, barring something totally insane occurring (e.g., two more curry titles as the #1 guy). the fact that it's a conversation is a credit to steph, who was drafted after jonny flynn. and you can include me in the list of early doubters, too. i'm eating crow big time on that one. didn't say he sucked, but i thought more jj redick than all-time great, for sure.
I don't think HE thinks he's as good as Kobe. But I'm sure he takes it as a compliment, and is happy to let fans debate that. Must feel good. Greatest shooter ever, but I'm not sure I'd say the best PG ever either.
Don’t know about that? Maybe. But you have to factor in the sheer offensive firepower he brought. Which goes a long way to evening out the areas that other PGs did better.
Well, for me, the best PG’s throughout the history of the game run the offense, and significantly improve the effectiveness of all of their teammates. Curry is more like a souped up 2 guard than a natural point.
Well, the fools that mismanage the city have a whole three years and change to return L.A. to decent form, instead of one that resembles a sci-fi dystopian nightmare.
You’ve heard right? …. no cars to any events …. it has to be rapid transit per the Mayor. Let’s make it magnitudes harder and less convenient for people to get everywhere and take longer doing it in most cases.
