I watched that 81 point game when it happened. I actually fell asleep the first quarter or so because I was getting sober from the Steelers going to the Super Bowl. I woke up in the 2nd quarter in a panic, forgetting to turn the game on. Kobe's minutes were like clock work in the 1st half every game. Play all 12 in the first, sit the first 6 minutes of the 2nd, play the last 6 minutes. Kobe dropped 26 on the first half, which wasn't out of the ordinary that year, he was dropping 40 and 50 point games like we pop tic tacs. Lakers were getting their a** kicked and there was no anticipation that Kobe was going to do historic things that night until Kobe dropped 30 in the 3rd and the Lakers were slightly behind after being down 18 earlier. Then he played almost all of the 4th until he made free throws 80 and 81 points. Phil Jackson did not hinder Kobe in any way that game. Someone needs to check John Salley. His commentary lately has been just plain wrong.
Why are there so many f***ing sick people in the world? Leave her alone for god’s sakes. She’s suffered enough.
Da hell TRO will do for her? The dude is arming up, so I am pretty sure he's not gonna stop because of some paper. The fact that he is allowed to purchase a gun is why people look at the US in bewilderment. OTOH, Natalia can certainly afford a security detail on the level of POTUS, so... perhaps do that as well?
So, today is the 17th birthday of what might be Kobe's best game ever. 62 points in three quarters vs 61 points by the whole Mavericks team. That Mavs team won 60 games that year. It's also impressive how much the guy was hated back in the day. There were people criticizing him because he had 0 assists that night.
