Yeah I misunderstood this too. In part because I’d never watched a HOF induction ceremony before.

Was really nervous during the game last night, but watching this clip really helped calm my nerves. For those that don’t remember this series was tied 1-1 in the West Finals, the Lakers were down on the road, and this was a critical Game 3. Kobe made one of the biggest shots of his career and without that big shot we do not win that series.

I get that same feeling with LeBron that I always felt with Kobe because as a die hard Lakers fan all you want is to see your superstar come through in the clutch and despite LeBron’s reputation he’s always been one of the best closers in the NBA. I know Kobe was proud watching this big time season saving shot by LeBron.

This was the birth of the mamba scowl. The most taxing game I can remember to my chest. I agree, Lakers lose this game, they lose the series. This Denver team was nasty good. Carmelo was at his peak here and would have won the title this year had Kobe not taken it away from him.

Bynum got injured during the Grizz game , Kobe willed the Lakers to victory then dropped 61 in MSG

AD got injured during a playoffs game , Lebron was a non factor in the 3rd

Unfair comparison with the age and probably health of each in those games. Are we back to Lebron is a puss too? Live to fight game 5, maybe?

Not a fan of this comparison. Why use the Kobe thread to hate on LeBron in the first place as well, dude won us a title last year and we’re still doing this? We can’t just appreciate greatness while we have it, I’m sure Kobe would have. Bad comparison anyway, this game was over, LeBron is in season 18 and has played in 10 NBA Finals and 3 olympics, dude has no business being even as good as he is at this point.

After LeBron came to the Lakers when no one else wanted to, it showed what he is about... After he brought AD along and won a title, I thought Lakers fans would support him like they did with other all-time Lakers greats. Seems like LeBron gets bashed from other NBA teams and now some Lakers fans as well. Really sad to see. If more Lakers fans are such haters, I wouldn't be surprised if future NBA players don't come to the Lakers...

He does dumb things. He has always been an idiot when it comes to certain subjects. He's a petulant child who needs to tell the world he does stuff. He is really full of himself. That comes off him very easy.

I remember being so happy for Kobe personally outside of the franchise. He went on an incredible tear throughout that 2009 playoffs. He was driven and on a mission to bring home #15

Still my favorite Championchip of the 5 we won since i am a Lakers fan.
Felt so rewarding after those years without Shaq and Kobe almost leaving the Lakers.
