such a kobe way to get 32,000 November 18, 2014 - Lakers vs. Hawks - Kobe Bryant Scores His 32,000th Point
He looks like he's slowly getting his legs back. The fact that Young has returned is gonna take a ton of pressure off of him as the only guy that can create and will also help him to expend some more energy on defense.
I'm happy that he hit the 32K mark in a win. This kind of 10-18 for 28 points efficiency should be his focus for the rest of the season.
Yep. Lin looked different. Boozer looked different. I'd like to see those guys continue looking like that all season long. The less times Kobe has to take 40 shots, the better.
SMH at the fact that some people don't think we should be trying to win another championship with Kobe, and should just rebuild for the future...
With all the slander he's been receiving, it's good to see some positivity about him. Congrats king Bean!
It's not about Kobe, it's about the Lakers. If we end up with another Top 5 pick we potentially have a duo set up for the next 10 years. Kobe can win with them or he won't win at all. It's not about winning with Kobe at all costs. It's about winning.
Exactly. I dont know why some people cant get the fact that we can have a blend of youth and experience. Having two potentially starting players on rookie contracts is actually your advantage to be able to put towards SIGNING a couple studs or near max players the next year or two. Get the best of both worlds this way.
BTW he played 37 minutes out there... I dont see one person mention anything about it this time getting a W and all while continuing to knock off the rust. I knew he had it in him. Save the age talk if you want for next season, as far as im concerned, Kobe is still Kobe.
But you gotta give him a pass that he looked really good throughout the game! Lets see how he does tonight, definitely needs to get Ariza in foul trouble so he doesnt have to work as hard.
The problem I've observed that every coach after Phil has with Kobe's minutes is buying the BS. He often starts out shooting low % early in the season then gets his groove and goes through periods of 50%+ shooting. So he wants extra minutes to get his groove back in less games and then when he starts hitting, he doesn't want to come out and no one wants to take him out. We'll see if Byron can control it. He's at 35 mpg which isn't bad considering the depleted roster. Brown and MDA ran him almost 4 more minutes per game.
Questionable lift tonight late in the game; he seemed a bit tired, and he gunned a bit. Let's get this man some rest so he can give us 100% for 30 a night.
Kobe on big minutes early in the season, "I'll do what it takes to get the team a win" Lebron on big minutes early in the season, "I need less minutes"
He was tired. When you see Kobe retying his shoes or drawstring, he's trying to buy time from the refs. I didnt like his shot selection tonight at all though.
