Been waiting for something like this after seeing all the cameras there covering him on the final night. 60 f****** points and needed them for a win in his final game after 20 seasons. Unbelievable!!
Hi, i am torn between the Dallas,Toronto and Utah game but who cares, all were great. Thanks for the links above, great reads. NBA has changed, it started with the torn achilees and finished with Timmy retairing. All star game is like watching the Harleme Globetrotters. 3 pointer, dunk no defence, where are the times when Wade broke Kobes nose? I remember a game i think it was against GSW (his last good season-with Dwight), Lakers won Kobe got over 40 and shot 40 times. ESPN was blasting him for poor shooting, he had 1 free throw in that game- a technical. They were hitting him from all sides, but the refs didnt see it. What are the odds that you shoot it 40 times and dont get fouled-0%! If you look at RW shooting% its bad, and he is not a 3 double, but a 4 double candidate. And if we go to JH, if he goes to the rim and you look at him the wrong way, then hi gets free throws...the last time someone got the better of him it was Metta with the famous elbow. And i dont wont to start the disusscion about floping. But it is always interesting to read from someone like Plaschke, who hated Kobe and in the end had to give him respect. And if we go to Espn and guys like Pelton, he always has the answer. If we look at career stats, Kobe atm, beats all players who are not MJ and KAJ-in my opinion. Okay then we look at advanced stats, and there are 15 guys better then him. I remember his top 10 of all time, Kobe was not in top 10. Magic and Bird were top 5 and i dont think they were better players and surely didnt have better careers. There was a list where Steph was above Kobe-i dont know who did but WTF- 4 good years and 1 ring cant be enough. Time will tell the truth!
I'll never forget Iverson single-handedly beating what was one of the greatest teams of all time. He deserves tremendous respect for that if nothing else.
http://www.slamonline.com/media/sla...k.com&utm_medium=referral#yDE58wcfexoDeeGT.97 Draymond to Pierce: "chasing that farewell tour? They don't love you like that. You thought you were Kobe?" That's trash talk at a whole nother level.
I'm guessing this was a response to Draymond. This was my response to Pierce. Still remember he told our fans we're not coming back to LA. Well Paul you did and that took that L in Game 7.
I found 32 games in which Kobe and AI went head to head as starters. Lakers won 20 of them. Kobe averaged 27.2 PPG AI averaged 28.5 PPG Kobe posted 8 double doubles. AI posted 5 double doubles. They scored 30+ 27 times: Kobe 11, AI 16 They scored 40+ 7 times: Kobe 3, AI 4 And AI scored 51 to Kobe's 49 in their highest scoring game.
I doubt Green started it but damn it was the coldest answer since " Ether" . Wheelchair is trash , always has been , thinking he was better than Kobe and Lebron in 08 Dissing GS for forming a super team when he was part of the VERY first one Growing up as a Lakers fan , ended as a C bag legend , couldn't be worse as a person in my book
When was last time 2 players both went for 45+ against each other? I honestly have paid much attention to the non-Lakers games in the past few years but I can't remembering hearing about any of those classic duels we used to see.
That short film ^^^ Jerry West after working out Bryant for the 20 minutes or whatever ..... "I've seen enough".
