NBA TV has been running Hardwood Classics again. They had Chicago vs. Orlando in 1996 I believe then later on it was the Lakers vs. Orlando 2009 Finals Game 4. 23 and 24's overall games looked so eerily similar. The three point shooting, the mid range, the fades from the post, face up Js, creating shots off the dribble. So fortunate to have witnessed both in their primes... THE closest player I can say to both would be Tracy McGrady.

Hardaway in his prime was great too... McGrady was more explosive offensively and was underrated on defense. A shame both had their careers derailed by injuries.

Another great player "killed" by injuries, Grant Hill. Loved his Fila and Sprite commercials.

Yep!! He said it even to the point of mentioning ISO ball like it was a bad thing. Even though he excelled at it. He knows the Triangle and motion offenses like that properly run are great. LOVED that he said at the end all anyone has to do to work with him is call, it's in his blood ....the Lakers, and that he plans on being around and he and Luke have talked.

And it was particularly noteworthy I felt when Kobe recounted near the end how he was pulling Nickelodeon "gold slime" out of his a** for 2 days afterward. LOL. Who knew?

I like it. Makes he look wiser and more mature, weathered.

Retired Kobe is so quiet. It's weird.

Also Bresnahan is a pretty awkward interviewer.
