Probably the most thrilling 3 minutes and 20 seconds in Laker history...

    Still can't believe what happened:

We were down by by 10 points with 2:38 min left. Kobe in 3 min scored 15 pts and hit the game winner.

Agree... Has more excitement than ANYTHING the Clippers have done the last three years combined... Oh and their mascot sucks too.

I've watched Cachooka's highlights to that game once every week since it has happened. Just incredible.

I hope they're not adding a "baby mama" to their situation, that would be incredibly awkward?

When Jeter hit an RBI game winner in his last at bat at Yankee stadium I said to myself how hollywood couldn't of had a better story. I am proud to say I was wrong after watching Kobe's last game.

You can tell Kyrie molds himself after Kobe. The only player I like on that team.

Annoys me that people keep killing Kobe for the retirement tour. He didn't even want one at first and then he saw how much he was being appreciated and adored by fans everywhere even those who resented him for years. He wanted to celebrate with the fans. He enjoyed all the love and appreciation. What's he supposed to say stop loving me? It's ridiculous.

Duncan didn't want a farewell tour. Said it wasn't his style and I wouldn't expect anything less from him. Duncan and Kobe are completely different people. Why does Kobe have to be like Duncan? He doesn't. He should be Kobe. It's idiotic to diminish either guys greatness to prop up the other. They're both once in a lifetime type talents and should both be celebrated.

Funny thing is if Kobe didn't say he was retiring everyone would've called him just as selfish, walking into the sunset without giving the fans who cheered for him so long a proper way to say goodbye. Lose/lose...

Coach K saying something to the effect of "Kobe is as much responsible for turning around the Team USA program as anybody."

High praise and 100% correct. Kobe was instrumental in that 2008 Olympics. He was incredible and his work ethic rubbed off on everyone who went to the Olympics with him. Even now those players talk about it and they impart that ideology on the new generation coming up today. The man really is this generation's Jordan.
