    They are our rivals and most hated enemies but the respect is real. Glad we got the win and that Kobe clutch three point shot was straight out of a Hollywood script.

    Nice... Happy for 24 sticking it to them one last time there. The parquet floor memento was not new. Abdul-Jabbar received one in 1989 during his last stop.

    Woooo!!!! Felt like 2010 out there! Gotta find a way to keep this game, it's TVO'd. What a way for Kobe to go out in Boston. What a way for them to remember him. Showed him much appreciation too. Respect the rivalry! Yeeeaaahhhh!!!!!

    Definitely a great final moment for Kobe. I loved the fact that they booed him. To me that's a greater sign of respect then just cheering him because that just would've been too wierd. This is just one of those rivalries that never dies. Like Dallas/Pittsburgh in the NFL or Boston/New York in MLB. It's a special one. For me beating the C Bags in the Finals was always Kobe's greatest moment. It was all he had left to do which as avenge that excruciating and humiliating loss in 2008. He did it. After that his legacy was secure as the greatest Laker and best player of his era in my estimation. One of the best moments ever as a Lakers fan. Will never forget Ron's big three in the final minute, Pau had a clutch shot as well, Kobe finally hit a couple of late buckets after struggling mightily, and played some outstanding defense on Rondo and crashed the boards. Ranks right up there for me with 1987 as my favorite moment as a Lakers fan.

    I just double checked, yeah it is. Maybe they should just have a ceremony to retire his jersey right after the game. That would be kind of cool.

    Glad to hear this. I was actually hoping he'd take tonight off and chill. No use playing against the 70 centers. Rest up and start the new year fresh. He's been hurting the last couple games.
