Kobe played another efficient and smart game for the most part. Forced a few shots early, but made some excellent precision passes once again. That dunk was sweet. If only it had been on the clown.

I had started wondering if Kobe was going to throw one down this year, but my money would have been on yeah it was going to happen at some point. He'd just pick a spot where he liked his chances and jam one on somebody. Well that's out of the way. Give us more! :Hungryfordoom: but pick your spots where you're unlikely to get knocked out of the air.

That was EPIC to see him slam like that last night!

I've been so happy to see him turn around his play lately. Ever since he cooled it on the chucking mode he's been playing incredibly well: so efficient, sharing the rock, grabbing more boards. This is exactly what we had hoped for in his return. He's playing smart and is fun to watch again. It's awesome.

20 years later, at age 37, and he put it down on a guy who was 2 years old when he made his debut

What's weird is Capella could have totally blocked that. He had a hand on it and everything. I wouldn't say he LET Kobe dunk, but definitely he was surprised enough that Kobe was able to get it past him.

How about the young guys picking up a tech because they were celebrating too hard? Got to love it.

Him and Mr. Bunny Love Ranch I was fond of from those days... Selfless, hardworking and unassuming.

I rewatched that many times. It looks like Clint tried to block the basket with a limp wrist. Got his hand caught between Kobe and the rim, and pulled back because of it.

Kobe sort of caught him off guard, sort of quick dunk'd it. I love the dunk but truth be told Kobe barely got that thing over the rim, lol.

Regarding the tech, that reminds me of the NFL penalizing any kind of touch down celebration. No fun League.

LOL. At first glance it looks like there is 3 feet of snow outside.

    Come on, Kevin. Snow? Really?

It's so much fun watching the young guys get excited. About any good play. But especially when Kobe wakes them up with some first person, retro, throw back, old school great plays and shots.
