Okay, taking all bets as to whether or not Kobe heaves more or less than 10 3's tonight

He should not shoot before the game so that his arm isn't dead by halftime. Some analysts today on ESPN were joking that he'd try to get into a battle with Curry, which I doubted, but then you never know.

What strikes me is that by the time the game starts, that's not at all the form he shoots with. That rhythm, that clean stroke is nowhere to be found. Usually he ends up in a weird split leg stance or twisting his body unnaturally to force the ball to the rim.

If he always shot like ^ that, his percentage would be better.

Considering we're playing GS and they make 3s in their sleep, he's going to think he has to keep us in it (and by in it, I mean down 20 points) by jacking up at least 13 3s.

I think he comes out firing trying to recapture the duel between him and allay last year. I don't see it ending well at all.

Over 10 3 point attempts for sure. Like JSM I'm thinking teens: 13-15. He has absolutely no self control any more.

Meh...even Sasha Vujacic was Steph Curry during practice. Game action is a different animal.

He's hitting them in practice, and just SURE it will translate to game action soon. Dudes, all he has to do is hit 10 a game, and he scores 30 points.

MVP Baby! He reinvents himself once again and goes down in history as the oldest MVP ever in any sport.

It's sad. Kobe isnt playing smart, but byron isnt putting him in positions to succeed either. He's looking worst than he's capable of playing

Sadly I turned this game on when we were already down 30 points. So I missed Kobe but damn. 1-14. It just gets worse...

LOL. It's sad, but little to no Kobe for the last 2 seasons prepared me for this. He can't do it anymore, really he needs to retire. I'd like to see him finish the season and finish on his own terms, but I cannot see him holding up. I guess it's true that many greats don't get to go out on their own terms, retirement is forced by age catching up to them at light speed. 1-14 for 4 points, I don't even know what to say to that.

As Eminem once said... "I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged, Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow"

That always comes to mind when I see Kobe put up these kinds of performances this season... which is like... all the games he's played so far. His time is done. He may acknowledge it to the media but on the court... dang.

Such a sad way for a farewell tour.

I know. It's like, I understand the reasons why but it's still tough to watch this play out.

I can't feel bad for him ... He got 50 millions to jack up bricks and delay our rebuilding process ...

I can't be fine with this "it's all about me" attitude , with this level of stubbornness and giant ego at this point of his carreer

He got what he deserves imo

Really? Kobe deserved to get run into the ground like he did and rupture his Achilles? Kobe didn't deserve that. It's really quite embarassing how much disrespect Kobe is getting. Yeah he's struggling, but the man is 37 years old. He's played two decades. Probably four or five more extra years with olympics and playoff and championship runs. Yes he needs to retire, but I'm not gonna sit here and say he deserves all this is ridiculous. No all time great deserves this.
