Really sad to see his career wind down like this. I was hoping he'd go out while still resembling the Kobe Bryant we all know and love. I hope he can somehow salvage this season.
any updates on kobe's health? i had a thought this morning that i could imagine the msg game as his last. he's played poorly, he's developed another new injury, and he got in one last game at msg. i'm sure he'll want to play in front of the home crowd again, and maybe i'm overreacting to the injury. but i could see him just packing it up if they say this is going to be an ongoing problem. he's clearly not into the fanfare.
His back was too stiff last night, was icing and stretching, and he's hopeful to play today - per Rotoworld (probably someone's Twitter; I read it this morning).
Me too, I had a feeling this early part of the season his play and health would determine if he wanted to play out the season, and if not just sit back on the DL for most of the year except for some key home games. His quote of "I just F@#%#*& Suck" is telling where his head's at right now....tonight's game may be the final straw...or new beginning.
According to Mychal Thompson, after the Orlando game Kobe walked back to the hotel mingling with the fans and causing traffic.
